So...my ferrets don't steal anything and I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed. They are still young and I'm hoping they'll start their theivery later in life. xd
ANYWAYS! What do your ferrets like to steal??? I want to hear cute stories of ferret thievery!

Mine drag my shoes under my bed...they also take random papers or envelopes. But shoes are the absolute best...it's so adorable to see them run off with something bigger than they are hanging out of their mouth, their little faces all determined. I stop them halfway and they want to play tug-of-war with me. My foam sandals are all pull of little holes. biggrin

Ollie loves dragging all of my shoes under the bed. I'm always searching for them in the morning. For a long time he would get into my purse (unzipped it himself) and take my wallet out to hide. Three times I was someplace trying to buy something and didn't have it. stare I eventually gave up and gave him the wallet and bought a new one. =P

Our ferrets have a room to themselves, and we try to keep our things out of it. As soon as we put something down there though, it's gone.
In their room, they like to steal the scoops for food and litter the most.Anyway, this cake is great. It's so delicious and moist...

i'm a toy collector (you know, action figures, dolls, my little ponies) and my ferrets like to steal my toys D: i've had to put my toys on higher up bookshelves because my ferrets are apparently little mountain climbers.
i've also had my girl ferret steal underwear, socks and gloves from the clean clothes pile when i bring in laundry.
back when sabbie was still with us, i would bring in the newspaper in the morning and set it on the floor. well sabbie would steal the newspaper. >.< he would grab the corner of the newspaper bag it was in and just start running off and sometimes the newspaper would fall out. he would stop and look all disappointed that the newspaper fell out.
once when i was reading on the bed that used to be in the ferret room the phone rang, when i went to pick it up... i couldn't find it.... then i realized it was ringing from under the bed. >.< so i dug it out and replaced it on the hanger... next play time it disappeared again. so i re-dug it out from under the bed. the play time after that i watched the phone area and spotted ace grabbing it by the antenna and hauling butt across the room and under the bed with it.
he also likes to steal the tv remote. he will get it and run off to a different room with it. once i even found it in the bathroom down the hall. o.o;
once during a bath playtime, ace also ran off with the scrub brush.
i've also had 3 watches disappear thanks to some mystery theif. don't know who it was yet. stopped taking off any watch in their room now. stressed
and the most annoying yet... one of the fuz ran off with my credit card. >.< that was a pain finding....
hmm... can't think of what else has been stolen besides treat bags.

We live in an old house so there are so many holes for them to get into and perhaps gets lost/stuck in so we have to give them playtime on the porch everyday, Ivan takes bits of food and hides them under everything, and likes to hide his rubber ducker. Sasha use to like to take the socks off our feet and hide them when she was a kit but not anymore. <3

hahah that's awesome. My guys have taken to hiding food all around my room, and Charles always takes his toy and stuffs it under an old, upside-down, unused litter box that they always play in.

Kodo loves to steal. Shoes are his favorite, he'll take them off your feet if he can. He also likes leather items. I had a leather wallet he'd always snatch out of my purse, along with a leather eyeglass case. Video game controls, DVD and game cases. Cat toys are another favorite. He'll collect all the cat toys and hide them in the same spot. And stuffed animals. I had this stuffed cat pillow and since it was a pillow it was huge and he'd grab it by the tail or the button nose and pull it all around my room because he couldn't find a big enough hidey hole for it.
