The Kiltzar Desert is named after the first earth demon to inhabit th is island. It was his power that allowed the earth demons to live in this seemingly inhospitable desert. But really, at first glance it doesn't look as if anything lives in this sea of sand. But watch your step traveler or you'll fall through the many sinkholes that are scattered about the desert floor. These sinkholes are actually entrances to the vast network of underground caves in which the demons of earth live. The caves were created by the earth demons, not by carving out the rock, but by using their powers to actually shape and change the earth. The earth demons share their home with large creatures that look a lot like armadillos, if they weren't the size of horses.
