This place is modeled after the Shrine of the Master Emerlad on Angel Island. This shrine was used only once, to cancel the Chaos Emeralds' power when they were making the Arc fall to Earth. Before this, it was the battlefield of Shadow the Hedhehog, and the Project Shadow Prototype. After falling here, the Prototype fled using the Chaos Control.
