The Moonstone
The Moonstone is a place where leaders come to share tongues with StarClan, as well as to ask for guidance or ask why certain things are happening. Leaders always take along two to three warriors to protect them, as well as any apprentices that are approaching the time that they should become warriors. Medicine cats also come to the Moonstone every half moon, to hold a meeting with each other as well as to share tongues with StarClan.
Once every month, similar to how we hold gatherings, medicine cats will meet to share tongues. This date will be decided by them.

First Medicine cat journey begins today so start posting here Med cats!
Owlpaw could hardly wait, as she bounded out from Shadowclan camp. She was already at the border of Windclan's territory as she stopped to wait for her mentor, Darkwhisper. Her voice silent, tail tip twitching ever so slowly, her eyes sparkled with excitement. She loved being able to speak with Starclan just as much as she loved healing her clan mates. Kneeding her paws anxiously into the ground, she let out impatient purr.

Brookeye, standing at WindClan border, saw Owlpaw. "Hello!" She mewed cheerfully, starting to walk towards the Moonpool. She glanced at the WindClan border and shuddered. "I just can't get used to walking across WindClan to get to the Moonpool."

Owlpaw let out a soft purr. "I can understand very well." the shadowclan medicine cat apprentice said. Her large blue eyes beamed around, waiting for her mentor to catch up. Her ears flicked backwards at a slight noise. "Where is everyone else?" she mewed softly.

Brookeye shrugged. "Late, I guess." She started to run up the hill leading to the Moonpool, until she finally reached it.

Ooc: It could be razz We can make it that way. Mistfeather and blizzardleaf will just have to be puppeted for now.
Owlpaw's tail bristled with excitement. It was going to be her first journey to the Moonstone and she could hardly wait. "Everyone else is already there!" she called, as she raced ahead slightly, stopping to wait for Darkwhisper.

Brookeye smiled. "Seems we were late." She looked down at the pool, excited. She mewed to the others, "Since everyone is here, shall we start?"

Owlpaw nodded her head, barley able to talk through her excitement. She blindly let her whiskers lead her down the tunnels till she came out into an open space. A large boulder stood before her, moonlight glimmering off its smooth surface. Her large blue eyes were wide with wonder.

Darkwhisper caught up with her flighty little apprentice. "Owlpaw, I know you're excited about your first Moonstone journey, but please try to prove ShadowClan's reputation right." She inclined her head towards Brookeye. "We can start if you want."

(( Blizzardleaf can't make it because of Smokepaw, she doesn't have an apprentice to watch Smokepaw vwhile she's gone.... and because I don't know when i'll make it on the computer again ninja ))

Ooc: Need to wrap this up - The Gathering is tomorrow
Owlpaw did as instructed, laying next to the Moonstone, her nose touching the smooth surface of the rock. She felt cold, then soon asleep. In her dreams she saw the forms of many Starclan cats. Eyes wide with excitement, she listened to their purring mummers. Most welcomed her, but one stood out amongst the others. A dark gray she cat with piercing blue eyes. It was her mother, Silverleaf. "Mother!" she mewed, as the silver she cat licked her daughter atop the head. "Three full moons from now, two strange visitors will come with a message for all the clans. Be careful." she mewed softly, before the figures seamed to fade away. Owlpaw blinked open her eyes, glancing around at the other sleeping cats. What did she mean?

Darkwhisper touched her nose to the Moonstone and dropped off to sleep. Her apprenticeship sweetheart again--why did he always have to give her messgaes from StarClan? This time was different, though. Midnightfoot was off in the distance, and Darkwhisper's paws were rooted to the ground. Two cats joined him after a while, and the dream ended then. ((yadda yadda, cryptic dreamy. let's go home now.)) She woke up and stood carefully. "Owlpaw? Ready to leave?"
