Gatherings
The Gathering is a sacred truce held by all of the Clans for one night: The night of the full moon. This happens once every month, so on that night cats selected by the leaders of each Clan attend a meeting at fourtrees to discuss things like seasonal floods, kits being born, elders dying, or grievances with other Clans.
Each time we have a gathering, which the date will be agreed upon by crew and leaders, the leaders of each Clan will select cats to go and all of them will meet in a new topic in this forum, created only for that gathering. The gathering will go on for one to two days, so everyone will have a chance to post. Medicine cats and Deputies always attend gatherings, unless for some reason or another they absolutely cannot make it.

Lunarstar led her clan towards the Fourtrees, quickly taking her place atop the rock. She could smell the scent of the other clans on the air, her eyes pricked wide. Was Lumberpelt going to be there?

Sandstar led his cats into the Fourtrees at almost the exact same time, leaping up to sit next to Lunarstar. He smiled warmly at the she-cat. "Greetings, Lunarstar. How is the prey running in RiverClan?" He asked.

Lunarstar dipped her head polity, her small frame and size greatly visible against the strong Shadowclan leader. "The fish are swimming and the River is high." the she cat said, in a soft delicate tone.
Owlpaw flitted amongst the Riverclan cats, not hardly paying attention. She let out soft meows of greeting, until she managed to set herself down near where the other medicine cats sat.

Sandstar smiled again. "That's good news. Diamondstar and Smallstar seem to be taking their time." He purred jokingly, his cheerfulness almost an aura around him.

Soulstream padded into Fourtrees a good while after Lunarstar arrived. She had taken a slow and steady pace so as not to encumber her apprentice, Smokepaw, who had just recently recovered from her near-drowning in the river. Quickly, though, she padded into the clearing to look over the cats of other Clans. She spotted a frigid looking tom and steered away from him without a second thought; he was the kind of cat that gave her the willies.

Coldeyes padded into the camp just behind Sandstar, and rolled his eyes as the weakling tom bounded up to his "rightful" place at Greatrock. The pale silver tom was surprised the leader could even make it up there; after all, his skills were lacking, both in hunting and, Coldeyes was certain, in battle. He saw a RiverClan she-cat padding toward him and glared coldly at her, pulling his impassiveness around him like an icy cloak. She quickly turned away, and Coldeyes went back to carefully watching his leader schmooze atop the Greatrock.

Ivyleaf yawned, walking in the Gathering. She padded over, watching the Highrock. She wondered how the other Clans were doing. Stifling another yawn, she hoped she wouldn't fall asleep.

Smokepaw trotted in after her mentor, her eyes bright and excited. She decided to mingle, and she padded into the ShadowClan area, stopping in front of a scary-looking tom. She narrowed her eyes, her old personality seeping through a bit.

Ooc: Keeping his posts short.
Smallstar, with a yowl, entered followed by Windclan. He took his place at the Greatrock, dipping his head before sitting off to the side quietly.
Lunarstar let out a soft purr. "It seams you spoke too soon!" she teased lightly, curling her tail delicately about her tiny grey paws. Her eyes scanned the clearing, still waiting for Thunderclan.
Raincloud padded in, the big lovable cat meowing greetings to all the warriors. Choosing the wrong cat to pring up his rather friendly personalty, he dipped his head to a massive Shadowclan warrior. (Coldeyes) "Greetings there! Seams like it will be a chilly leaf-fall huh?" he mewed

Smokepaw looked up at Raincloud, dipping her head, polite against her instincts. She frowned slightly.

((Hahaha, sorry, Emberstar, but Coldeyes really just does not like Sandstar. I'll try to keep the "hatin'" to a minimum, hmm? wink ))
Coldeyes slowly peeled his gaze away from Sandstar to fix it on a large tom who had padded towards him. He stared blankly as the big tom dipped his head and meowed, "Greetings there! Seems like it will be a chilly leaf-fall huh?" Coldeyes waited one moment, two; the time stretched on and the silence became uncomfortable, yet still the pale silver tom sat still as a stone. Finally, he meowed in his smooth, light voice, "Yes." He could almost feel the temperature dropping as he turned his gaze on a little she-cat that had padded up to him and was glaring at him insolently.
The tom simply looked at her emotionlessly with his cool grey eyes, upper lip curling just a tad with distaste as he caught the reek of RiverClan emanating from her pelt. He didn't say a word as he met her glare; it wasn't necessary. Instead, he simply gauged her as he would any other cat.

She smirked.

Raincloud, sort of air headed as his name was, looked from the Shadowclan warrior to the Riverclan apprentice. "Hey there? Whats your name? I'm Raincloud!" he mewed, purposely ignoring the two cat's bickering.

Darkwhisper sat on a root, next to her apprentice. ((her first Gathering?)) As she waited for the other medicine cats to show up, she overheard Smokepaw and Coldeyes. Well, mostly Smokepaw since Coldeyes never said much anyway. She thought the RiverClan apprentice could probably tone down the sass a little bit. Or a lot bit.
