Darkwood forest is home to the only species of wood that is harder than steel when heated to a certain temperature. Before that it can be shaped and cut like any normal species of wood, this makes Darkwood a very valuable and desirable commodity. Of course its not quite so easy to obtain, not only must you risk the waters surrounding Darkwood Island, but you must also fight off the myriad of undead that room the Darkwood. Of course if you can do all this and survive then you can come away with quite the fortune.

The inhabitants of Darkwood are all undead, there isn't a single living being on the whole island. This undeath even passes down to the animals so don't be surprised to be attacked by a flock of undead birds, or a group of undead rabbits. There is even rumors of an ancient undead dragon hidden among the trees of Darkwood.
