Located within the Crystal Forest is a small crystal shack, poorly constructed compared to Elven buildings, with a Quest Master symbol stamped on the door. Inside is a surprisenly young looking Elf in exquisite clothing, he doesn't seem very happy to be here though.
"Well what do we have here? More fools seeking death for a bit of gold to line their pockets." The Elf mumbles something about being stuck in this hobble of a shack before turning his attention back to you. "Well speak up then little fool, pick your fate from the wall or be off with you!" Available Quests

Quest Giver - Saradiln
Reward - 500gp or a free lesson in magic
Description - Something is corrupting one of the mana pools in the Crystal Forest, my studies and my condition prevent me from investigating myself. So I need a strong adventurer to go investigate for me, I sense the corruption is strong so be prepared to defend yourself. When and if you should succeed, come to my home in the Crystal Forest. I will send an orb of light to guide your way once I feel the corruption has been dealt with.
Difficulty - Hard
Time Limit - The corruption is quickly overtaking the pool. I estimate that you have 4 days

Quest Giver – Kendra Dalmiya
Reward – 300 gp
Description – I want to make a magical elixir. I need you to collect the ingredients that I need. They are scattered across the isles. I need you to get me: Fresh Water from Green Hills in Brenton, Clouds from the Moonlight Plateau on Moonlight Island, Undead Bird from Darkwood forest on Darkwood Island, Magma from Mt. Magmus in Magmus, and rum from Tortuga. I thank you for your service and the risk that you are taking good luck!

Xavier moved quickly through the crystal forest after hearing the rumors of a corrupted mana pool. This was obviously something incredibly sinister and the elves source of magic was powerful indeed. With that thought, Xavier remembered a time when he himself tried to harness such a powerful and was nearly destroyed. To be young and foolish. He smiled as he quickly moved past all of the gleaming trees made from the beautiful crystal substance. He was nearing the small "Quest Master" shack and could truly not remember the first time he had made a visit to the ragged building. Coming to a small stop right before the door, Xavier sighed gently before moving into the building and looking at the man. On Illuminati island, he was known better as Ptolemy rather than Xavier.
"'ello old friend. I've heard a tasty rumor I was wanting to check out. Any idea about some corrupting mana pool?" Xavier said with a large smile. He was incredibly eager to find said mana pool and do his own research before more "accredited" elven officials had their way with the phenomenon.

+_+ Quest Master +_+ The young Elf behind the counter yawns with boredom and drums his fingers on the crystalline surface, he looks up with dreary eyes when someone enters his little hut. A mild look of recognition crosses them as he speaks in a slow "I'd rather be somewhere else" voice, "Ah....Ptolemy....not dead yet?" The young Elf yawns again and nods at Ptolemy's question, slowly stands and goes to the quest board.
Mumbling to himself as he scans the scraps of parchment on the board he finally finds what he's looking for and rips it off unceremoniously before returning back to the counter and handing it over, "If your still interested in dieing I have a map that came with the request. Take your *yawn* time." The young Elf slouches back on the counter and waits.

"You've never been the energetic type have you? But yes, I've still a means to recklessly jump into the depths of chaos just as any other being my age." Xavier laughed thinking about how more beings would have been in the ground decaying by now if they were alive for the amount of time he had been. "Hmmmm.... It seems that this is a bit more interesting that I had originally thought." Xavier said as he looked over the bill. "So, how fair the wife and children?" he asked the never aging elf with a hearty laugh. Xavier had a voice that did not match his body for he looked so young but sounded so old; well more wise than old.

+_+ Quest Master +_+ The young Elf sighs heavily and seem quite annoyed with the topic of conversation, "So are you going to take the quest and die or not? I'm quite busy with doing nothing at all so I don't have all day." The young Elf reaches under the counter and slams a map on the top of it and goes back to staring off into space with a yawn. Then he looks back as if remembering something, reaches under the counter again and pulls out a small pouch this time. "The client said to give this to the, well he calls you brave I call you foolish, adventurer who accepts his quest." He yawns again and adds, "It's supposed to help and there's instructions inside." The Elf returns back to his slouching position as if nothing happened.

Xavier had always found it quite entertaining to annoy the rather lazy elf, he could never really get the elf to explode with anger though... Maybe another day. "Well it seems I shall be on my way then. Best of luck to you and your oh-so busy schedule. Bye for now." Xavier said as he took the pouch from the counter and looked over the map carefully. He made he was quickly from the shack and near ran a few yards from the shack just to get away from the place. One would think that an elf would care more about the aspects of nature that were like apart of it. His enthusiasm is not my problem however. Xavier thought to himself as he opened the pouch and peered inside. Maybe there was more to the quest than Xavier had previously thought? Regardless this would be an incredible chance to study more about the liquid flowing through the elves source of power.

Dear Adventurer,
I am so glad you accepted my request, it is so hard for these old bones of mine to get me any further than my garden. Now I bet your wondering whats in this sack? Well, I wasn't sure if everyone had a bit of magical know-how so I left this with the Quest Master to aid in cleaning the magical pool of contamination. Its a magical powder made from the waters of an uncorrupted magical pool. Its quite fascinating that when you boil the waters from a magical pool that it actually turns into a fine powder of equal volume! Unlike water were its the residue from the minerals that are left behind. Now then back to the subject at hand, once you've identified and removed the corruption to the magic pool just pour the whole bag into the corrupted waters and it should clean it up. Of course I haven't had a chance to test this so I would be very careful and get a good running start. Good luck!
