Small Bright is the Elven town that sits just outside the gates of the castle. Because the Elves are so proficient in magic the quality of life in an Elven town is quite different then anywhere else. The streets are aglow with magical lights at night, music plays from small boxes infused with a magical spell, carriages and carts aren't pulled by beasts of burden but instead are pushed by magic. If you need something of a magical nature, this is the place were you will most likely find it.
Small Bright is also the local harbor town because it stretches from the gates of the castle all the way to the sea.

A large boat was coming to a halt as it neared the docks of Bright Town. It was a huge vessel adorned with sapphires on the railing and golden trimming. The mast of the ship was large and towering with satin white sails attached to it. As it stopped, two guards came to the side and quickly made a strange change in their stance. Suddenly water shot up from the ocean below and began to form the shape of wide stairs with sturdy railing. This would obviously not be such a feat for the elves to marvel at as they used magic in their every day lives. Navidora began to unload from the boat, all of them nobility. First their came flower girls carrying large woven baskets of lotus petals which they would toss around the ground at the feet of the more powerful nobles. Second can the dancers, fine Navidora women dressed in flowing skirts and long sleeved shirts with thin veils covering their faces. After came the guards who moved quickly and stood perfectly in order holding spears in a defensive manner. Last came a figure that was covered in thick robes.
The robed figure looked at one of the guards and whispered something silently to him and quickly the guard went back onto the boat as the water-made steps fell back into the water below. The beautiful ship began to disembark quickly as the group of Navidora made their way to the carriage that wait on the street just near the dock. The lesser Navidora made a ring around the robed figure, the flower girls on the outside with the dancers in the middle of the ring and the guards nearest to the unknown being. They made their way quickly to the carriage and entered it. The flower girls rode inside with the robed figure while the dancers did flips and cart wheels on either side and the guards in their blue-iron armor marched diligently near. They were off to see the ruler of the elves.

+/ "Rum? You have rum!?" +/ Suddenly there is a great commotion in a nearby tavern, the sounds of people shouting, of glass breaking, and of tables cracking under great force. A local elf crashes through one of the windows of the tavern and lands in the middle of the street, in front of the Navidora procession.
A young man saunters out of the doorway of the tavern, a bottle of rum in one hand, and a lock of the elf's hair in the other. "Now what was that ya said about my mum eh?" The sounds of commotion is still going on behind him even as he walks towards the unconscious elf, he bends at the waist and seems to examine the elf, "What? I can't here ya...No snobby comeback?" The man takes another swig from the bottle before his attention is finally drawn to the Navidora procession, "Whoa.....what we got here? 'nother group of fancy elves?"
A scruffy looking man leans through the broken window and shouts to the young man outside, "Oi! Capn'! Ya want us to grab some o' this rum?!" A bottle flies over the man's head and crashes into the street.
The young man twirls around and titers a bit before regaining his balance, "Aye! Grab as much as ya can mate! I have a feeling we are going to need to shove off very soon!" The young man laughs loudly and takes another swig of rum. +/ "Now we can have some fun!" +/

The door of the elven carriage opened and a delicate flower girl stepped out of the wagon. Her features were very graceful and dainty and he hair was curled perfectly down to her back. She moved close to the pirate standing in the way of the carriage and bowed to him. "Dear sir, I humbly ask if you would kindly move out of the way as my mistress must make way to the elven castle yonder. We've had such a long ride on the boat to get here and we are all terribly tired for there is a show to perform for the elven princess." The flower girl was lying but it was so far from obvious that the very cosmos would make it true if it were based on her performance alone. "Please sir, I implore to let us by." She said once more kneeling and smiling to the pirate. The guards looked without emotion as they had been doing and the dancers seemed slightly annoyed.
It was then that suddenly the elf that had first been a hindrance to the carriage had awoken. It was not a normal state of being however as the elf's eyes were empty as if he was still sleeping. He jumped high into the air and landed gracefully on the ground though he seemed to act like a marionette on the end of some strings. He opened his mouth and laughed heartily and cried out to the pirate. "You think you've won do you? Well I will teach you a thing or two!" The elf danced as he was made to be a puppet. The dancers were laughing by this time and even the guards had begun to smile slightly; they weren't laughing at the pirate or the elf but simply because they knew what was going in. A large clamor of giggles came from the carriage as well as the flower girls were delighted in the show. In the elf's boot a card was sticking out, it was the six of spades.

+/ "Rum? You have rum!?" +/ The young man scratches the back of his head and looks generally sorry when the young girl makes her plea, and is about to answer; until the elf he had tossed to the curb suddenly jumps to his feet.
The young man turns sharply and faces the now dancing elf, his eyes are fiery with anger, and his voice come out low and menacing "Teach me? You think you can teach me something?" His voice gets louder now, bellowing in anger like a flash fire in a dry field, "I've got something to teach myself, I'll teach ya why they call me Captain Logan FIREBRAND Bellamy!" Logan pulls his fist back and it suddenly becomes engulfed in flame, no, more like it becomes a ball of fire.
The scruffy man's eyes go wide and he suddenly ducks down and shouts into the tavern, "Everyone down! The Capn' is pissed!" There are cries of surprise and a lot of rustling about going on in the tavern and then all is quiet.
Logan throws his fist forward violently and a column of flame errupts from it, completely engulfing the elf. When the flames finally fade the elf is surprisingly still alive, but his clothes and all his hair has been burned away! Logan's eyes go soft again as a big grin plasters itself on his face and he doubles over in laughter, "Oi! You boys ever seen a bald and naked elf before?!"
When Logan finally stops laughing he looks to the girl and bows flamboyantly, "My sincere apologies for the delay little flower of the sea." He then turns back towards the tavern and shouts to the people inside, "Alright ya bilge rats! Grab the rum, we better shove of before the guard arrive!" A chorus of "ayes" echo from the broken window and the sound of people moving about can be heard inside. Logan takes one last look back at the carriage before nodding his head to the passenger side of it, a big grin on his face, and steps back into the tavern. +/ "Now we can have some fun!" +/

A fine display of power. Alexander thought from withing the robe guise he used to travel in. As luck would have it, the pirate was no barbarian. Had a fight ensued it would have most likely cost Alexander is entire efforts on coming here. Holding out his hand, the card that had been tucked away in the elf's boot appeared within his palm and Alexander gave a small smile. He was merely going to use the illusion of the elf to lure the man from in front of the carriage so that they could be on their way but it turned out to work all the same. Of course while the flower girl was giving her performance the guards hauled the real body onto the top of the carriage under the illusion of a glass bottle breaking. Alexander was quite skilled by this time in his art of illusion and loved to see others enjoy his marionette shows. As it was, Alexander was grateful to the man for not turning upon the carriage itself as he thought most pirates would surely do.
The Navidora continued to move along with road in a calm and collected pace as they trekked to the grand castle of the elves. It would be a tough feat to make an alliance with the elves for the sake of Altamoria Island. Strange things were happening back home and it was beginning to make Alexander feel a bit unsettled. Never before had Altamoria Island have a single undead being on it for the island is protected by the great moon goddess and the powerful sea god. Yet with their divine protection the island still faces the problems of walking corpses. The elves are the most powerful allies of the Navidora people other than the Vampires; they have more knowledge of raising the dead rather than putting them to rest however. It was a vexing problem that Alexander wanted to be rid of. "You had a marvelous performance my dear Hilda, simply marvelous." Alexander said in a smooth baritone voice to the now smiling flower girl. They moved ever on as the illusionary elf that had been engulfed in flames now disappeared where he lay and the true elf rest in a deep slumber on top of the carriage. To have an elf hurt before the eyes of a Navidora would have killed all chance of negotiation Alexander though.

Alexander felt the smooth velvet robes her wore as one of the flower girls feel asleep on his right should. He could understand seeing as they had all had a rather long ride from Altamoria Island to the Island of Illuminati. The petals in their baskets made a sweet scent even now and it was actually rather soothing despite how Alexander wanted to act as if he hated the plants to make the girl think him more masculine. He was still a child at heart, despite how much he tried to grow up. Right outside of the carriage one of the more busty dancers was twirling and stepping, twirling and stepping, while singing a lovely lullaby. No wonder the flower girl had fallen asleep. It was now nearing time for Alexander and his small crew to eat and he was beginning to feel as such; his stomach rumbled with a deep roar. Trying to take his mind off of food, Alexander looked around the inside of the carriage to examine some of the elven craftsmanship. It was a deep crimson suede type fabric that was lavishly decorated with a bit of golden trimming here and there and it made him feel ever more comfortable to know that the more common elves of this island lived as royalty.
Elves are of a different race though, they are profecient in their arts of sorcery and magic. Its almost suprising that each house is not a castle! Alexander thought to himself while he admired the elven coach. Suddenly the coach stopped and the window was opened by the curvy dancer that had been singing before. A tall immaculate structure lay before Alexander's eyes; a large castle made of beautiful crystal sculptures. He was nearly at a loss for words and his eyes traced each little detail of the ornate castle. This made his own home look to be a mere shack indeed! Each part of the castle seemed to be handmade for that specific area or as if the moon goddess herself made a home for the elves. They were a truly blessed race to have such gifted craftsman and artisans; not to mention their magical abilities. The flower girls poured from the carriage on cue and began bathing the ground in soft and silky lotus petals. The dancers that were stationed around the transport started a very graceful dance and every one of them moved in a synchronized pattern; they were the best in all of the Alta-Furian territory of Altamoria Island after all.
The guards moved their spears high into the air then tapped the ground with the hind part of their weapons, making a loud clanking sound. The flower girls now paced themselves with the dancers but moved in a different direction while still gracefully dropping their pearly white petals. A single guard stepped forward to a guard of the Elven castle and loudly announced the arrival. "Prince Alexander Cervantes Delecroix of House Delecroix; Royal Family of Altamoria Island's Alta-Furian Province." The guard huffed slightly afterward but stepped back into his own position and faded back into the scene of Alexander's arrival. Alexander could only fathom trying to yell his own title like that, it was incredibly long and without good reason. So it was that the robed figure finally stepped out of the carriage and awaited the arrival of the messenger so that they may be let into the castle.

+!+NPC+!+ Suddenly the gates fly open and a squad of soldiers pour out of the gate, nearly avoiding running over the Navidora procession. One of the soldiers shouts out something about watching were they are going as they rush by. Each soldier has a determined look on their faces. They stop a few feet behind the Navidora procession, talk among themselves, and then split up into groups of two before disappearing in the city.
A few moments later an old looking Elf in fancy armor steps through the gates of the palace, he places a fist over his heart and bows. "My apologies for the ruckus my men caused but we are in a bit of a situation." The old elf stands straight again before continuing. "I'm afraid we can't accept guests at this time, so I would have to ask you to leave. If you must stay, there are some fine inns within the city." The old Elf turns to leave, a look of obvious worry on his face.

Alexander's gentle facial features became distorted under the robes her wore. He had truly come all this way for nothing but a "Sorry not now"? Alexander bowed and made his way back into the carriage with the flower girls following quickly behind him. As the carriage began to disembark from the splendid walls of the majestic elven castle, Alexander was cursing silently under his breath while the maidens around him tried to comfort him. He was never one to lash out at the ones who hadn't done him anything so it was easy for them to calm him; not to mention the thick smell of the lotus petals. As they moved by in the carriage, Alexander was watching at the elves go about their daily business while using so much magic. It was almost unfathomable how such sculpture like beings could create such marvelous wonders and works of art; proud to be a Navidora through and through, Alexander was jealous of his own weak abilities in the mystics arts. For some strange reason, his mother was a very profecient sorceress and his father was a great and powerful warrior; somehow both traits escaped Alexander's blood and were given to his younger sister or his older brother. Thinking about his older brother always made Alexander forget about jealousy and brought out a sense of pride that he could find in no other place; the thoughts never made him sad for some reason.
"Sire, what will we do now?" A flower girl had asked gently as if speaking to a god.
"We must stay obviously and wait until they are ready to receive us as their guests obviously" another flower girl answered.
"No... Those guards were not as quiet as they should have been. The princess has escaped the royal ground on some sort of escape from the life she was born into. Hmmmm..." Alexander thought while leaning back in the seat. "I've a grand idea and you all will be helping me. Get ready, its showtime girls." Alexander said with a smile as the carriage stopped and the flower girls got out. Each one of them began to sprint quickly in a different pace, all in search of something. Being what they are, Navidora, their legs were made to move fast by the second so that had no chance moving past the guards who had been dispatched to find the target.
The carriage reached the docks and Alexander and his royal squad moved onto the ship that had just recently come to replace the last one. This time however they did not leave as soon as Alexander moved onto the ship. They were waiting.

+/ "Rum? You have rum!?" +/ Logan laughed as he ducked under a sword swipe and rolled away from a spear stab. He was having quite a bit of fun dodging the attacks of these Elves. They were very precise in their attacks so unlike fighting unskilled bumpkins, one wrong move and you would be dead. Logan does a back flip to gain some distance between him and his opponents before letting loose a fireball in their direction. The soldiers dive to the side with shouts of surprise and barely avoid being hit directly. But when the fireball makes contact with the ground it fans out with a huge explosion of fire. Logan laughs again at the looks on their faces when the fire fades. He had made sure the fire wasn't intense enough to kill. The worst that would happen would be singed hair and something akin to a sunburn.
The Elves snarl at Logan for being made to look like fools, "We'll be sure to return your trickery ten fold when we get our hands on you outsider!" They advance quickly on Logan.
Logan lets out a laugh that booms like thunder across the streets of Small Bright. And for a second the Elves hesitate, "Oh come now mates! Are ye so uptight ye can't gave a bit o' fun?' Logan laughs again, turns, and runs. "Your free to take your revenge. If you can catch me!" Logan had a feeling this was gonna be a grand day and the grin on his face was proof he was already enjoying himself. +/ "Now we can have some fun!" +/

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."Tsuna didn't understand Raine's reaction to his comments and questions. They seemed logical things to ask and say. Tsuna shrugs it off as another quirk of other races and follows Raine to Small Bright. When they finally arrive the streets are alive with activity. People are running in all directions. Some look confused while others look scared. A group of soldiers rush past the place were Tsuna and Raine were without paying them any attention. They shouted something about a pirate causing trouble in the town and no sooner had they gone by then a series of explosions occurred in the middle of Small Bright.
Tsuna watches the pillars of fire for a moment. He had thought that perhaps a fire demon was nearby. But he didn't sense anyone of demon blood now that he was close to Small Bright. He shakes his head this was no time for speculation. "It seems this will be much easier than anticipated. We should make our way to the harbor in the midst of this chaos."

 ● ● ● ● гคเภє ● ● ● ● Raine almost froze in her tracks when the soldiers ran by. She could have sworn she'd had a heart attack- that was far, far too close for her to be anywhere near comfortable with it. But, thankfully they didn't even seem to be noticed! She gave a sigh of relief once their path was clear, and silently thanked whoever it was that was causing the trouble. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard after all.
She couldn't help but roll her eyes when Tsuna commented. A light smirk hinted at her face, but it wouldn't be visible to him since she was ahead. "No, we should wait until things quiet down and then saunter through the middle of town with giant lit-up nametags." Her sarcasm was more than obvious as she began weaving her way through the mass of people in the direction of the docks.
She pulled out the flier for a moment and glanced at it again to double-check what they were looking for. "A big ship with lots of blue... Keep an eye out for it, will you Tsuna?" She was looking too, of course, but it'd be a lot easier with both of them looking. She didn't think it would be too hard to spot- after all, how many ships would there be with THAT much blue? It seemed ridiculous enough for one. She couldn't wait to find it, if only to mock its odd paint job.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."Tsuna frowns at Raine's comment. Was she really so foolish as to broadcast their location? "I don't think that would be a wise idea....." He relaxes when she doesn't do what she said they should do. He was getting more confuse by the second so he decided to stop trying to understand what was going on and just focus on keeping them safe. At least for now.
Tsuna nods when asked to look out for the ship in question. It shouldn't be that hard to spot. Right? He looks over his shoulder as another series of explosion erupt in town, they seemed to be getting closer. "We should hurry....It doesn't look like we have much time." Whatever was happening it seems it was making its way towards the harbor just as they where. It shouldn't be a problem as long as they make it there first.

Alexander had retired into the lavish bed suite of the large ship's hull by the time Raine and Tsuna had reached the town of Small Bright. The room had thick, soft carpeting with blue velvet covering the walls. The room had floating orbs of water moving slowly throughout the room, each of them shimmering with a dazzling light of vivid color. "Hmmm... This is taking longer than I had hoped..." as he turned from the window he was looking out of and scanned the room. There was a large four post bed with a silk veil around it, a large mahogany desk with many different books and draws, the watery spheres of light, a huge basin with a mirror for washing, and a night stand that had a picture of Alexander's mother, father, and older brother. Moving over to the desk, he picks up a small golden bell with intricate carvings in it; with a slight flick of the wrist, a beautiful tune rang out from the small bell.
A maid came into his room and bowed. "Whatever do you need, milord?" She asked with a delicate smile. He dress was made of fine silks and laces to incorporate the traditional "French Maid" look.
"Claudia, I want you to send one of the flower girls to fetch Madame Raine from the forest. Her arrival is taking longer than expected and we must depart soon." Xavier said was a soft grin and a nod from his head "Oh, and please ready some of the finest tea we have on board. I should think that our guests will be parched when they get here." Xavier finished heading back to his window as the maid bowed once more and moved out of the room.
The flower girl moved from the boat quickly and had no problem locating where the princess had been moving. She quickly made her way to Raine and looked at her with a large smile before bowing with courtesy. "Madame, the cruise is leaving in a moment, would you care to join the merriment? It is just yonder." She said pointing to the boat then moving on and speaking with a few other people. Her speech with them was something much different, but she needed to seem as if she were not targeting the princess directly or Raine might be driven off.

 ● ● ● ● гคเภє ● ● ● ● Raine never knew she had such a short attention span. Every time she tried to stop and look for the ship, something else would pop up and catch her attention. Street vendors, children running around and playing with each other- despite the alarming situation going on in another part of the town, the daily life of the place hadn't been pushed completely under the radar. It was
true that Raine had been here before, but she'd never been there anonymously, never had the chance to actually see it for what it was and not what it pretended to be when the higher-ups were around. She liked it much better this way.
She was very much surprised when a little girl came up to her and inquired about the cruise. She blinked, but the girl was gone again before she could respond. How odd. For a moment Raine had thought the girl had made a beeline right for her, but looking now she seemed to just be advertizing around the town to random people. Her nerves started to calm again, but a lingering feeling of wariness hovered about her now, and she cast Tsuna a single backwards glance before heading in the now clear direction of the ship.
And what a ship it was, too. Huge and beautiful- not even the crazy amounts of blue took off from its majesty. Raine just stood staring for a moment, since she'd never been on a boat before she had no idea what it'd be like up there, and she was insanely
curious. Wariness pushed to the back of her mind, she now looked more like an excited child than anything as she looked the thing over. "Not bad, huh?" She grinned at Tsuna before it turned into more of a smirk. "Let me guess, you want to go up first and make sure there aren't any snipers hidden below deck, just waiting for poor defenseless me to become their easy pray?" She chuckled, even though Tsuna was her guardian demon now, he just seemed too uptight about it for her not to tease him at least a little. It only made it funnier that he didn't seem to catch all of her jokes.
