'Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Children of all ages! Come one, come all to the great Cameron Bentley's Carnival of Thrills! Cast your attention to the big top, and prepare to be amazed!
Throughout all this here United States, our troop is the certainly the greatest. Feast your eyes on the infamous contortionist, the fierce wolf-man, the daring acrobat, our very own fire breather, the one and only blind archer, et cetera, et cetera ... and then of course, there's Caeron Bentley, the ringmaster under the bigtop!
At Bentley's Carnival and Freak Show, prepare to be thrilled! Prepare to be frightened! Prepare to have your breath taken away, and for it not to ever return...'
That blurb, which was from a poster ad, has to be five years old at the least. Bentley's Carnival was only ending its second year of business, when a practice of a performance went horribly wrong. One hot summer night, the fire-breathing man miscalculated his distance, and the tent caught afire. Down burned the circus tent, taking all the carnies to the ground with it. Cops were reluctant to exploring- or even touching- the grounds. Everybody in the troop was presumed dead without further inspection.
And since then, the carnival camp has been untouched. Rumors float about the nearby village, saying that the undead carnies lurk their grounds looking as they did alive during the day... and then bearing their rotten, burnt flesh during night hours.
Of course, nobody is crazy enough to believe that!
If only they knew how true those rumors really were.
To five different nearly-grown boys of neighboring cities, receiving a coupon for an exclusive day at a carnival in the mail isn't anything out of the ordinary. And when they arrive, finding out that they're the only ones there isn't bizarre, either (the coupon said that it was going to be nearly-private). The grounds look well-kept, the carnies look like carnies are supposed to.There are no clouds in the sky, and aside from the barren lands the carnival is on, it looks like it's going to be a good day.
Save the fact that the boys for some reason can't reach their cars, and that they don't know of the rumors that the Bentley's Carnival holds...

1. I, Shadows After Dawn, am the ringmaster of this role-play. Both in character, and out of it.
2. This is a literate RP. No less than six sentences per post. C'mon, you can do better than that!
3. While we're on that note, correct grammar and punctuation is a must. However, typos and mistakes are forgiven.
4. Please be active! If you're busy I can understand, but at least post a warning in the OOC thread. If you're going to be gone for awhile, PM me.
5. After a week of not posting, I'll PM you (or have somebody else do it). If there's no response within a few days, I have the right to remove your profile.
6. Godmoding and Gary-Stus will not be tolerated. At all.
7. I have the right to reject your profile.
8. If this is your first night at fight club, you have to fight.
9. This is a yaoi RP. If you don't like it, then you obviously don't belong here.
10. Make your posts pretty! Pictures, texts, and colors are loved. Also, use size 10-11 font!
11. THIS IS PG-13! Take your lovin' outside or skip it!
