-=Varnox in training=-
August 3rd 2008- I met a strange dragon today. I was in the middle of my daily walk when I noticed a dragon eating a dragon egg. We talked. Soon I was able to buy one of the dragon eggs. I only had enough money to save one egg. Hopefully I will be able to train my new dragon to make me more money to save more dragons.
August 5th 2008- After two days of meditating I finally discovered my new dragons name, Varnox.
August 11th 2008- Varnox has been moving around a lot inside the egg. I wonder if Varnox will be male or female. It won't be long now before I know. I have redesigned this room to be the perfect training environment.
August 12th 2008- Varnox hatched from his egg today. Our eyes locked for the first time. Watching him hatch was one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. I underestimated how much that boy can eat. He not only ate the breakfast I had prepared for him, but he ate lunch and was still hungry. Every morning I meditate to gain insight into the day, it turns out that Varnox was doing the same inside his egg. I know Varnox will make me proud.
August 15th 2008- While gallivanting around the mountain tops, Varnox accidentally caused a rock slide. Normally that wouldn't be so bad except there was an egg caught in the rock slide. Varnox rushed after it trying to save it as it rolled off the mountain and started a free fall. Even though he had not been able to fly reliably, he dove off the mountain cliff, used his wings to catch up with the egg. At this moment I reached out to him with my mind and together we cast his first spell. Clouds spewed from his mouth and clung to him helping him slow his fall. He used his wings to glide more then fly and they safely landed in the valley. He then walked all the way back home with the new egg.
