The Great Forest doesn't take it's name lightly. Dense with trees and bushes, this forest provides the humans with all the lumber they need. But it is a dangerous job thanks to the abundance of monsters and animals that inhabit it. So tread carefully in this deceptively serene forest.

There is also a rumor going about that there are some ancient ruins hidden deep within the forest guarded by an ancient beast. But thats just a rumor...right?

The sound of what can be best described as screeching metal echoes throughout the forest. A buzzing sound soon follows and then not even a few seconds later the sound of a tree crashing somewhere in the forest is heard. The sound of screeching metal is heard again, followed by the same buzzing sound, and followed yet again by the sound of a tree crashing to the forest floor.

Birds and small animals seem to be quite frightened by something as they run or fly full speed to the outer edges of the forest. Wolves and larger predators follow soon after, but they don't seem to be the ones chasing the smaller animals. No, they too seem afraid and even rush past the slower prey without a second glance. There was something big moving around the forest right now, something scary.

There is a flash of movement near the edge of the cloud, the sound of buzzing, the sight of sawdust flying from a near by tree, and then the ending result of said tree falling to the ground. For a moment nothing moves, then the sound of screeching metal is heard again, and a creature that no one ever wants to meet alone in this forest steps through the cloud; it is the famed Steel Ogre.

The Steel Ogre's smaller arms click at the air in a random pattern, as if searching for something, its larger bladed arms lay at it's sides, the blades still whirring with that awful noise as if waiting to taste its next victim. The eyes of the Steel Ogre flash red and an alien sounding voice emits from it's head, "Intru*^STATIC**now**STATIC**10 sec**STATIC**o comply**STATIC**!" The Steel Ogre doesn't move at all after speaking, as if waiting for something, then two seconds later it speaks again; ""Intru*^STATIC**now**STATIC**8 sec**STATIC**o comply**STATIC**!" This time the creature takes a single step forward, its blades whirring to life for a second before dieing down to the steady whirring of before.

The Steel Ogre takes anther step forward and the voice comes from it again, ""Intru*^STATIC**now**STATIC**6 sec**STATIC**o comply**STATIC**!" The creature takes another, slow, heavy, metal screetching step forward and speaks again. ""Hostile ac*^STATIC**now**STATIC**in 4 sec**STATIC**!" The blades on its hands whir to life and it swings one of them at a nearby tree, the cut is so fast that the tree stays standing for a few seconds until a gentle breeze blows through the still forest and topples the tree.

It doesn't appear the Steel Ogre is interested in any kind of conversation. Its hard to tell what this creature is thinking, it doesn't appear to have facial features that are familiar on most living things. In fact one has to wonder how it even speaks, there is no visible mouth that one can see on it.

For a couple of seconds nothing happens, the blades on the Steel Ogre hum quietly and it's claws grasp randomly at the air. It almost seems peaceful right now, even a bird lands on the creatures head and sings a song. Then after four seconds have passed the creature stirs again, its blades spinning at great speeds as it begins to advance on the boy. "You*^STATIC**violation**STATIC**paragraph B subsection 15 of**STATIC**penalty is death**STATIC**!" The Steel Ogre begins to pick up speed, moving much faster than one would expect from something so large the very ground shakes with each step it takes, and swings its rotating blades at the boy.

The Steel Ogre's eyes flash, "Evasive maneuvers in**STATIC**!" suddenly fire errupts from the feet of the Steel Ogre and it is propeled safely over the shockwave, it lands with a heavy thud close to the boy and slowly rights itself. "Target**STATIC**firing**STATIC**!" the left side of the creature's chest...opens?! A small metal tube extends from the opening, the tip glows with an eerie red light, and a whining sound can be heard getting louder before finally a beam of red light fires from the tube and cuts into the ground. The tube moves upward and the red beam quickly travels towards the boy. The same bird that had landed on the creature head early flies in the path of the red light and is instantly cut in two. Whatever the light was, it was dangerous.
