Creep in the dark, the quicken of breath. You feel that touch of impending death. And the knife swings with ease and grace, to cut a cross upon your face. You stumble and scream, a cry in the night, Scared of seeing the terrible sight, of your own body as your soul drifts off into space. And upon the floor your life is erased.
I follow your bones, they take me back home, Your lifeless and cold, please leave me alone! I'll burry your bones inside my head, And only within me will you truly be dead....
......
Scream!
Pulse speeds up on the second construct, The sky then falls down and I've had enough. My fingers are bleeding from piano keys, I see crows on black wires like an ominous omen.
And bloody streamwater flows out from the veins, The viglant Reaper takes of hold of thine reins, and he pulls, down to the bottom of hell he will stare. This is your best nightmare!
I follow your bones, they take me back home, Your lifeless and cold, please leave me alone. The world of a nightmare is all that I know, And two bodies dancing awake in the snow.
Shards of glass slip through skin and design, the beast holds the hilt of the sword that is mine, with a mighty swing he roars in the dusk, the reek of the dead leaves a terrible musk.
I will awake from my very own dream! This is my creation god said unto me! The mind is an illusion, a craft to perfect, Quick cover the blood, clean up this mess! The life I don't have speaks soflty to me, he says awaken, this is but a dream. But the bars of this cell and the walls made of flesh, they bind my legs, and hold myself back. I cannot escape, but return to whence came, Everything's different when it's the same. Psychotic, chaotic, fire your gun, I'll only feel the bullet burn like the sun. Take me away Reaper, I must return, Unlike Apollo I wish not to burn!
And I folow yoor bones, they take me back home, you're lifeless and cold, please leave me alone! The ghost in the corner sings the dreadful, dead song, His voice has a raspy and miserable tone

The moon will shine on bloody skies, the darkest night, end of your life, you see. Planets align, for the last time, this heart of mine, ceases to beat for me. Drawing blood, the red will run, but it's just begun, the end of our days here. The burning sun, burn my love, die for us, drink this blood and live in fear of us!
And we are immortal!
This is the night, the darkest night, and it's time prowl the dark. A vampires sight, the human vein, where he leaves his mark. The tast of blood, let it run! Drink it dry and take their life. We won't die, but we're not alive, this is our anthem for the night.
In the dead and dark, the hunt will start, prepare for out attack. Pale skin and glowing eyes, this heart of mine, decaying flesh of the past. We few and proud, we're neve found, our silent sounds, we're jsut a myth. But believe in me, as you can see, these fangs I stab you with!
And we are immortal!
This is the night, the darkest night, and it's time prowl the dark. A vampires sight, the human vein, where he leaves his mark. The tast of blood, let it run! Drink it dry and take their life. We won't die, but we're not alive, this is our anthem for the night.
I thought, for the very first time, what it would be like, to stay alive, for just one night. But the call, of the bite, it calls me back, for the taste of blood, and the lust for darkness, Now, I stalk the alleyways, stay away, I'm on the prowl. In the dead of night, out of sight, you'll hear a scream and howl.
And we are immortal! Yes we are immortal!
This is the night, the darkest night, and it's time prowl the dark. A vampires sight, the human vein, where he leaves his mark. The tast of blood, let it run! Drink it dry and take their life. We won't die, but we're not alive, this is our anthem for the night.
This is our anthem for the night, this is our anthem for the night. This is a vampire's life, this is a vampire's life!

These are actually pretty good.
Morbid. But that doesn't detract.

End~Moraine I'm a horror writer. It's what I do. My apologies to anyone who doesn't enjoy blood and gore and such. You're talking to the one who buys medical books on the very subject. XD Do you plan to publish these, or just write for fun?

The Darkest Night (THe vampire one) might be one of my band's songs, and I'm hoping Bones will be too. I have a novel that i plan on publishing once it's done.

This is a song that is based off of the book I am writing, which has a working title, but so far I call it The Wrath of Creation. THe band I am in plans on comprising a demo of these songs.
Promise Me This.
Upon this tower I will stand, and look upon the world below. I'll block the sun out with my hand, and darken tommorow. I think back to my creation and I heave a sigh. My only mission now in mind is to end your life.
I am man's defying stab, at God's creation upon this scape. Though through bone and blood I walk, whose life did I take? God is not the one who put me upon this earth. I am man's defying stab, create and burn.
And promise me this, dear memory. Won't you forget you ever knew me. As I run for my life, take revenge for the strife, Promise me this.... If you fire that gun that you'll miss...
When the day is done and I sit alone in this fortress that I make. And I fall asleep, and in my dreams, you're the one that I thank. I point my gun and kill, This is not just a game but a thrill.
Think about my past, and remember all that was said and had, We'd sit together and laugh and wonder, within this jailcell lab.
And although I learn that life is supposed to be pure, I look away. Baby you'd better call my creator, and tell him to pray. I've got my gun cocked and loaded, and I'd hate to see you cry. Tell the good doctor he's coming home sick where I'll end his life.
And promise me this, dear memory. Won't you forget you ever knew me. As I run for my life, take revenge for the strife, Promise me this.... If you fire that gun that you'll miss...
I am the demon in this tale....Revived from encasement. I remember now with this....Knife and all blood it brings with it. Fear me as I fear myself, with this gun I cast you to hell, my creator.... I curse you not God...With my hand. Hath Harlor's coming back.

Very nice! Just a little angsty, but, hey, I can deal with it. Very expressive, artsy too. Well done.

I always seem to write like that. I mean, I just hate super emo lyrics (You know, I love you, you backstabbed me, you're a cheating whore, I cut myself) so I always wanted to be a step above that sad, whiny type and created an angry, sorrowful sound or a chaotic, insane one. Beyond that, I like my songs to have a story somehow.

These are songs? They sound like regular poetry. I stopped about halfway through because you're basically saying the same thing over and over and over again. They're not bad, tho'.

End~Moraine Upon this tower I will stand, and look upon the world below. I'll block the sun out with my hand, and darken tommorow. I think back to my creation and I heave a sigh. My only mission now in mind is to end your life. This is really the only part I like because you set a scenario. The rest of it sounds like it would be somewhat generic for whatever genre it is. I don't listen to this kind of music so I can't critique it accurately. I am writing a song about murder too but it's not a depressing/I wanna cut myself kind of song. This chick kills this dude and no one believes she did it because she's the "innocent type," but really he just fell for the wrong girl at the wrong time. I follow the "show, don't tell" rule, you see, so the tricky part is not directly saying it, but hinting at the storyline without being vague. I like to focus on the scenario more than the emotions because it makes it more unique. I'm tired of hearing about the same damn thing(s) in every song. wahmbulance Irony Ahead! wahmbulance For all my bitching, I can't say that my songs are all that good, lulz. I am a mucisian, but I take my shot at poetry and lyrics.
