Chapter 1
Celene looked out at he moon, her emerald eyes glowing in its soft light. "You haven't answered my question yet." she said to the man, who lay dying on the floor behind her. Her voice was low and seductive, yet unmistakenly dangerous at the same time. She turned to look at the man, and the smell of his fesh blood caused her fangs to extend. "Don't make me ask you again."
The man gasped for air, struggling to keep his chest from bleeding. If he hadn't looked so pale and mangled he moght have been handsome with his blonde hair and shocking blue eyes. "Please don't kill me." he whimpered, frightened as the vampiress moved closer to him. "Please, I'm begging you."
Celene merely chuckled as she bent down so her lips were so close to his ear he could feel the warmth of her breath, and the silence of her dead heart. "Isn't that cute, the mighty hunter, self proclaimed sovior of the human race, begging for his life." her voice grew harsh as the night wore on. Dawn was near and she needed to get back to the Underground, or at least one of the safe houses until the next night. "Tell me where the other hunters are, what you know, and what you are planning."
"We're all gathering here. We know your main city is located somewhere here in New York and I know where one of the entrances is." the hunter sruggled as she drew him closer. "They say Mira is out to get you." he stammered as a last hope to keep her away.
Celene snarled, ignoring his last comment as she dug her nails into his throat. "Who told you where the entrance is!" she demanded, her eyes burned with red as her anger grew, causing the hunter to cry out in fright. "Tell me now!"
"I-I don't know his name." the hunter cried, struggling to get away. But he only mangaged to tear his throat from Celene's sharp nails. "I-I only know that he captured a vampire and totured it out of him."
"When did he tell you? Who gave you the information?" She snapped, digging her nails deeper into his throat. "You'll tell me or I'll kill your son and drain him dry while you watch."
"I-I got an e-mail." the hunter answered, unable to control his sobbing while he watched his blood run down Celen's fingers. "I don't know know his name. I just know he tortured a half-breed. I didn't tell anyone I swear! I was suppose to tell tomorrow."
"You better not be lying to me Matthew." Celene crooned, bending her lips, so her lips touched his neck. "Because if you are, your son will pay the price." she sank her fangs deep into his troat, draining his life away. When she was done she destoryed the hardrive to his main computer and walked out, passing the bodies of the guards she'd killed earlier. When she was out of the building, she called upon the power of her ancient bloodline and snapped her fingers and the building burst into flames. Smiling to herself she patted the hunter's mini-computer in her pocket and walked away.
