Cost down would make your Phoenix 1 sacrifice, then you could add some spell and traps that add sacrifice able monsters like stray lambs for example but that one you couldn't sacrifice till your next turn. there are also other spells and some traps you could use. You could also add foolish burial and some cards like monster reborn and premature burial then you could even get your phoenix on your first turn.
Foolish burial requires a level 8 monster. Nephythys is a level 7.
I understand the need for Stray Lambs, but it would also make me skip a turn of summoning that would be un-passable with double summon.
I am against the Monster Reborn thing because it will be banned soon most likely. Premature is limited (damn it).
