"A forest village filled with a mix of wood creatures who live up atop the trees of the forest. They are very shy and will hide from any travellers that come to the inner part of there village. For vistors who venture deep into the wood never return back the same again. There is tale that the elder knows of a secret way through the Elredian maze to a sacred grove with an ancient temple. Could it hold something to risk your life searching forever in a lost wood?"

After Traversing the Bridge, the land began to grow murky and damp as the grass under Ikatsu's feet became wet and slushy. The Trees became more obscure, as if the roots of the trees were above the ground and not under it, and yet the trees seemed to thrive perfectly under it's conditions.
"Yep, this is the place alright, now where do we start?" Ikatsu asked openly.

Kai was feeling much better now that the potion had worked its way through his system. He looked around the area as he listened to Ikatsu."Seems like we have alot of searching to do."He spread his wings and took to the air to get a layout of the land.

"Won't be able to fly too high though. Looks like the canopy of the trees cover the top of us. Not to mention the obscured branches that grow out of them." Ikatsu said, seeming more interested in the fauna of the forest than the task at hand. The murky grass below Ikatsu's feet began to suberge as he began to step into deeper water. Ikatsu was hoping it wouldn't have had to come to getting his feet too wet, but he ha no choice.
"So, what do you think this crystal will be like? What it's location looks like? What the Guardian of this crystal looks like? I bet this is going to be very entertaining..." Ikatsu spoke out loud as he summoned Kumori. He rose from the shallow water and began to traverse the trees in a state of acrobatics.
"Heh, my kingdom for wings..." Ikatsu whispered to himself.

Kai knew he wouldn't be able to go too high but high enough to look around.

Up in the treetop houses, eyes watched Kai and Ikatsu through those windows. Then had an orange glow to them through the darkness of the houses. They were not that of an enemy but a group that were curious as to what was in there home of the woods.

As Kai flew through the air and looked around, he saw people watching them. He didn't think they would attack him or Ikatsu so he left well enough alone.

The Water on the floor bean to slowly crawl higher up his legs as Ikatsu stuffed his pant legs into his boots so nothing inconspicuously crawl up in there. He picked his head up and started to see small huts dangling in the treetops, however from his position he was unable to see anybody who might be looking down on him. Kumori, as a shadw can blend in with the other shadows of the forest and thus, whatever might be looking won't be able to see him as Kumori kept his pace with Kai while Ikatsu sloshed behind through the swampy waters.

Kai flew onto an open branch and looked down at Ikatsu."You think there is a temple or something where they are hiding it?"

Ikatsu quickly grew tired of thw swampy ground and decided to make his way up into the trees. With two of his three blades, Ikatsu dug his swords into the trees and began to climb up the tree using his swords. Few seconds of clibing later, and Ikatsu was up to Kai's level ready to traverse the treetops... or at least the bottom of the tree tops. At this point he began to realize he was being watched now that he could see the tree creatures.
"How am I suppose to know... you think we should just 'ask' them where it is?" Ikatsu said emphasizing the word 'ask'.

Kai laughed a bit."Yeah. You do that."Kai jumped off the branch he was on and flew deeper into the bog they were in in search of anything out of the ordinary.

The Forest seemed to grow thicker and more camped as Ikatsu began to traverse it's many branches above. He didn't seem like he was joking when he implied that he would interrogate these creatures to find out where the crystal was, but Ikatsu wanted to start somewhere where the tree houses seemed more abundant. Ikatsu assumed that if he goes where the creatures thrive he'll be more likly to find one that knows where it's going.

Kai saw more tree houses coming closer together."Damn."His area of flight was slowly being cut off. He landed on a branch near one of the houses and walked over to the door. He had no choice but to ask them about the crystal. He knocked on the door of the house and waited for someone to answer.

Ikatsu, slowly behind Kai, landed behind him perched perfectly onto the awning of the treehouse. Kumori returned as Ikatsu's shadow as he brought himself off the awning.
"What do you think were going to expect... dwarf-like creatures? Or perhaps illiterate mortal 'ningen' " Ikatsu asked curiously awaiting an answering of the door.
