hi! i am here to provide tips on how to not get hacked. to tell if a player truly is a gaian staff member.
tip#1: all normal players have blue colored names, gaian staff have different colored names. dont fall for thier tricks saying " you just got reported by a player, we need your ect." that is a common line for a gaian staff hacker poser.
tip#2: after you click on a hyper link and it says you are not logged in, dont enter your password or username, that is something used to hack players. its actually how i lost my first account...i was new back then. lol.
more tips are strongly appreciated.

DONT GIVE OUT YOU USER NAME AND PASSWORD lol i think that about covers it lol im sure theres others but as far as that goes between azure and i i think we got the bacis covered any more tynical tips plz post i dident want to get tenical lol.

 Pikachu's Adding some Tips for all around gaia.
Let's start with in Rally and Towns:
Sometimes, you'll start seeing random speech bubbles or challenges appear. To get rid of the challenges just click decline. That doesn't do anything.
If you get a message that's clickable, like something that says :
Click to claim your prize
DO NOT CLICK IT.
Again in this situation, if you do happen to click, don't relog into gaia.
Click the X in the corner of your screen, then come back online, go to www.gaiaonline.com (type it in yourself just to be safe) and log in. Then CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.
In the Forums:
Be leery of links. If someone you don't know, or don't trust posts a link, and you don't know where it goes, don't click it.
Especially links that go to tinyurl or similar sites.
BEWARE: Just because a link says www.gaiaonline.com doesn't mean it will take you there.
(Hover over the link, down in the left of your browser it should say where the link will actually take you)
Again, if you end up at a fake login page, DO NOT put your password anywhere. Always make sure that the address is www.gaiaonline.com.
In the Arenas:
Sometimes people try to scam people by putting up links saying "VOTE FOR ME" and it will lead you away to a fake page yet again. (seeing a pattern yet?) It's best just not to click links in the arena. Just vote, leave a comment if you'd like and move on.
I've also been told, someone tried a scam where they would ask people to vote for them, and it would take them to a fake page where it was an arena entry, but there was a floating giftbox. If you clicked it, it took you to a fake log in page. That's a scam. ^_^

If you are really reported it, you will most likly have either admin of The Admin in the place of normal avatars, they will have thier title below thier username (admin lead) and will tell you why u were reported, then either ban you or give you a warning

if you go on a redirect that tries to get you to log on, it doesn't automatically take your password unless you type it in.
I have many times gone on them and typed in
you'rea dumbf***
where it asked for a username + password.
What they're doing is just putting in a script that remembers what you type there.
