Bio:
Background: Izumi’s family was always partial to nature. They brought her up with nothing more than the ground beneath her feet and the hand made clothes on her back. She was always interested in the noises she could make with different things. Blowing wind into a blade of grass to make a sort of noise was fun and easily annoyed her cousin, Inari, who promptly hit her and took off the other way before his mother showed up to punish him. Inari always picked on her because she had a special little thing she could do. Beat the hell out of him. She was much too sweet for that though and only did it when he seriously angered her. Her mother always scolded her for it though and she didn’t do it much. When she was old enough she started going out on her own to try and get stronger so she could at least intimidate her cousin into leaving her alone. She’d be out for hours just punching or kicking something since she was completely unaware of this special thing called ‘chakra’ or ‘jutsu’. She was never taught anything but how to connect with nature and be at peace with the earth. She often found it fun to play in the nearby lake. She’d somehow push the air to make small ripples across the water. It was something she hid from her family, this little ability she could do. Izumi was 10 by the time her cousin was taken by his father to go out and start learning how to hunt. She was required to stay home and learn how to cook and clean the beasts the men brought back. She’d always great her cousin with a welcome smile only to receive a cold shoulder from him. Izumi never let his snubs effect her happy thinking and went on about her business.
Not long after she turned 13 she was told by her mother she was to wed her cousin Inari as a tribute to the wolf god as a sign of thanks. Izumi wasn’t too keen on marrying her own cousin, even though they weren’t blood related or very closely related. The thought was completely unappealing to her. Though, apparently, not to Inari. He began to hang around her more often and try to get her to play with him. He’d talk to her whenever he could and often tried to skip out on hunting by saying he was sick just to stay home with her. Izumi never did understand why this was until the day Inari’s mother came back from the family’s sister tribe in the west with news of a beautiful young girl ready to be wed. Inari’s family then declined Izumi as a wife for their son and sent him away to marry the girl. Izumi was never much impacted by this and continued on with her life as though nothing was wrong. Life went on and she made new friends in her small village made of her family member’s and continued to quietly train her arts of the body and elements whenever she could. Inari returned not even a year later to tell stories of wide spaces with nothing but tall grass. Izumi was told all sorts of stories by him about his new wife, Running Deer, and her family. How he’d made good friends with her father, the village leader, and the rest of the tribe. He told her about the sea and how open and blue it was. The depth of it amazed and confused Izumi to the point of wanting to see this ‘sea’ for herself. A few days later he was due to return to his new home to the west and bid her goodbye. It was then he told her how he had always liked her and was jealous of her abilities as a fighter and how she could be a great hunter and warrior. She told him she liked him as well but not in the same sense. Family is family and friends are friends. Izumi has never truly liked someone as more than family or friends due to her secluded life. When he returned to his new life, it was the last time she ever spoke to him.
Years passed and she was only a day away from turning 15, a landmark for her tribe as a woman. She was bestowed with a head band made of the woven thread her mother made for her along with a stone of her birth draped from him. She was given a beaded necklace from her grandmother made of amethyst and sapphire gems draped from white beads and more sapphire stones. It was truly a beautiful piece of art and something she’d keep with her forever. As tradition went, her father needed to give her something as well. His gift to her was a diamond shaped pendent made of amethyst with a sapphire center. It was definitely the most valuable thing she was given. After her birthday she once again disappeared to the near by lake. She was able to control the water and wind better now over her years of practicing and quickly learned to make ice with both of them if she moved them together quickly. It was out in the wilderness she met her little friend, Minao, a small wolf pup. The pup seemed to be alone and frightened and Izumi was sweet and took it upon herself to protect and feed it. It grew up pretty fast over the next year and soon left her to start her own life. Izumi missed her friend but it didn’t phase her very much. Nothing did really. She was much too heartless to care much about anything. Later that year, one of her male family member’s brought what he called a ‘bomb’ into the village and set it off. It destroyed two houses and a garden. From then on Izumi started to try and create her own. She finally made the perfect mixture to take out twice as much as the bomb her family member brought in. Izumi always had one of this ignitable balls hidden in the inside of her belt.
Soon enough, Izumi became bored with her surroundings and left her village in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes she had on that day and the jewelry she never took off. She was 16 and still as oblivious as she was when she was younger. She was carefree and never really did anything anyone could see as ‘evil’ or ‘naughty’ other than enticing a few kids in a village to play dodge ball with bombs. Nobody got hurt seeing as she only let them play with smoke bombs. It made it interesting, so she said. A year later she made it her own self mission to become more in the eyes of everyone than just a hidden away bomb child and sought out to become one of the most known people in this day an age, an Akatsuki member. And not just a normal person, an Elite, one of the most sought after positions one would think of. The only thing that seemed odd about her decision was, why join an 'evil' organization while she maintained such a decent and innocent composure?
Personality: Sweet and kind, she'd never leave someone or something in a state they couldn't handle. Obidiant like the little dog she is, she'd do anything for someone she concidered a friend. She can be childish and sometimes a little annoying when she follows someone around and causes a bit of mischief, but then again, doesn't that make her more fun? She'd dependable when she is cleared on knowing what it is she needs to do and will do anything to protect what she is given. Her love for water and fresh air is all she needs to be able to be happy and cheerful as she usually always is. Though watch her when her smile fades for it can mean a little more than just a small child's temper tantrum with her enormous strength.
Other: Ever since Izumi was younger she'd always seen a little wolf spirit following her around. Though, it only showed up when she was in trouble or in great fear of something. Izumi has always had a love for music and she carries a flute made of wood with her at all times.
