there's not much difference between the japanese and the american anime (with the exeption of some scene's cut, and the constant cussing with some action anime's)but. . .
you'd have to order it online from a japanese anime store. but most of the time they only come in japanese dub and maybe with english sub. it depends on the anime.

Meh, I dunno.
When I want original japanese anime, I walk down the street to the mini-mall. Cept dvd's probably formatted for Japanese tv systems. Oh well.
Go with what everybody else said. Buy the uncut version of whatever online. Usually they have the original scenes and whatnot and an option to play it in Japanese.
I can totally see Tribble commanding an army.
