He stands at 5'10 which is incredibly tall for his age, and only weighs about 145 pounds.He is skinny and lacks very much muscle, for he spends much of his time indoors and in the library. His face is also very lean. His chin and nose are both pointed. His nose, actually is slightly off center to the right but it adds a little crooked charm to his smile.
He has bushy brown eyebrows, and they are placed just a few centimeters above his almond shaped, and colored eyes. They are often squinted because the year before he had broken his glasses, needed for reading and long distance and they couldn't afford new ones. so he'd taken to squinting, preferring not to use a charm on his eyes in case of messing up.His hair is a dark brown nearly black. It's messy nearly all the time and the bangs are always swept to the right of his face. The bottom length cuts off just at the base of his neck and the rest is layered throughout.
His style is well he has no style really.He favors the colors green, and brown and wears camouflage and plaids most of the time. His favorite things to wear are jeans, T-shirts, and jackets. Though being a gentleman he does own a couple well tailored suits, ones his mother made for him. And he enjoys a nice sweater in the cold. He is neat and proper, and always looks his best. Besides his hair of course. [history/biography] Kendra Ritter was seventeen when she had Dorian. He was named after his grandfather Dorianth Ritter the third. Kendra had lived a troubled teen life. Partying, and hanging out with a bunch of different boys. When Dorian was born everyone wanted to know who the father was but Kendra, had no clue. "there were so many men" she had said "I don't know which one's the father..." and as it turns out Dorian aqquired a trait from each four men. A like of books, Brown hair and eyes, a pointed nose, and a skinny form. So they still have never quite figured out who the father is and that's fine with Dorian. He liked his life with his mother and wouldn't change it for the world.
Dorian grew up in a hose with his mother Kendra, and grandparents, Dorianth and Kiki Ritter. As a young boy he was always getting into books. He loved learning taught himself to read on his own. He was often found in his grandfathers library, reading a book or looking for one to read. Eventually When he had read just about every book in the library his grandfather had a new one built just for him. It was small but it soon began to pile up with books. There were his old favorites and his new obsessions. There were books on astronomy, geology, anatomy, he even had a few "fairy tale " books. which he had come to realize at Hogwarts, had as much fact in them as fiction.
His mother, bless her heart always tried to get close to him and be helpful but she just wasn't very good at it. She'd had him much to early and nowadays they seemed more like really good friends than mother and son.Dorian never really felt out of place in life. He always did well in school and fit in well with the other kids. He did chores, helped with the daily duties and went to bed with his head filled with thoughts. But everything changed when he got the letter.
It was a joke.It had to be! But no, sure enough a representative from the school had brought the letter, and had performed for them a small feat of magic. No one could believe their eyes. Dorian refused to believe that He was magic. what made them think so? They said that he was showing lots of magical ability, though to this day he hadn't noticed it at all. So, that august they made the trip to Diagon alley, not without amazement and he'd taken his first trip to hogwarts.
Oh the wonders of hogwarts. He was quickly sorted into Gryffindor, and though he was shy he met many people, though he has only a few friends, and then....there was the library. the Hogwarts library was like a dream come true. So many books to look at and read. He spent most of his days hidden there, often taking two or three books with him when he left every night.Now that he was going back he couldn't wait to get back there again.[personality] Dorian is a very quiet guy. He never much speaks aloud to anyone and is usually wandering the grounds or hallways alone. That is if he's not snuggled up in the library. His best friends are books and he does almost nothing but read them. He loves learning and books help him to do that. They are filled with information, written neatly in little lines across the pages./long story short he likes books.
though he is quiet and shy, He is very caring of his friends. Most people he doesn't really care about, usually the ignorant ones, or people who for whatever reason dislike learning. But the people whom he gets along with he cares about deeply. He would never turn his back on a friend, and being a gryffindor, he will always stand up for what he belives is right no matter who says its wrong. [likes] Books
