does anyone know where stores bulk order this stuff?

on manicpanic.com it's $10 but around where i live the going rate is $7-$8

They probably bulk order it from the company that makes it. Retail outlets pay the wholesale price though so they're probably paying significantly less than $10 per unit.

The problem is, why would you *want* to buy manic panic? It's one of the worst hair dyes you can get. You so much as look at it wrong and it's faded.
I've had the best luck with Raw and Special Effects. Those never, ever come out.
I get roots before they fade.

Jars are about $15, maybe more in stores like Sally's or any goth shops you might find.

You pretty much just slather it on your hair, it's got the consistency of pudding. If you plan to use it, I would say to bleach the s**t out of your hair first- otherwise it won't work at all.

The jar says to leave it on for a couple minutes, but I usually leave it a couple hours.

I had a jar of a deep purple color - forgot the name - that came out pink.
Worst. Dye. Ever.
