Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Gender: Male
Personality- As what would be expected from a Demon King, Shadow's persona and beliefs are nothing short of brutality. He can hold his patience when need be, but can just as easily boil over in the blink of an eye...and such behavior only exists with his best fighter's and loyal court. Anyone below that can expect absolutely no mercy when getting in his way. Always one to resort to conflict before compromise and at other times, he has a very unpredictable nature.
Enjoys- Darkness, Cold Places, Fights, Destruction, Thunderstorms.
Dislikes- Light, Warmth, Losing Fights, Archangels.
History- Born to the past king of the Nightmares, Shadow was raised in a harsh environment like many of his species were. He was taught most of the mannerisms he carries now at a young age, although he knew limits and knew how important balance was in the ever growing chaotic world. Trained in the ways many of their elite were, Shadow's own infused beliefs began to warp slowly..twisting into darker and more brutal thoughts. It wasn't until the day his old father finally passed that Shadow's true intentions had shown their colors as he took up his place on the throne.
He was still young and naive then, willing to wage war with this newly appointed power and not many of his species saw to object to such. Mad with such power, Shadow sought to bring down the holy sky kingdom, but as many powerful opponets often cause...the kingdom would not fall. In a last attempt to end this century old war...the demon king ordered the capture of the sky king's beloved daughter. Once she had been brought to the Dark Palace, the king believed surrender from the other end would be immenient.
However, he was wrong.
He had soon grown close to the prisoner from the sky, and had gone so far as to have fallen in love with that which he hated with all of his being. Foolish for having fallen for an angel, the star-crossed lover would see his own precious die within the jaws of her own sibling. Outraged, what little sanity that he had retrieved while the angel was around..Shadow lost and became the very monster he is to this very day.
Because of that event, he had become an unpredictable..unstable and deadly king to even his own species who dared to whisper of what a fool he was. Although the war had caused so much suffering and many losses, Shadow has not stopped thinking of plotting the day that he would take his revenge upon the sky kingdom again.
