It may be as long as you want, preferrably with all your dragons in the same area unless there is just no way...just so you can keep better track.
There are no regulations as to what you put in them..but don't post in someone else's den without their consent.

Remember, it's really all about the information you may want other's to know about your dragon's in RP's...you don't have to use it as if it were an actual journal and dock everything down.
