Death Beyond All Odds
An survival horror RP Welcome to my 1st RP, I hope you guys will enjoy it like the others. Anyways I have some basic rules to remind you off before we start:
1. NO CYBERING because: a) it's stupid and b) Gaia forbids it
2. ABSOULTELY NO HARRASMENT TO OTHER PEOPLE TAKING PART IN THIS RP.
3. Please follow the Parameters, they set the scene and what the goal/target is.
4. Also no GODMODELING!
Disobeying these rules will result in: a) Warning for 1st/2nd offense, b) Temporary ban if 3rd/4th time offense (cos I know the mods of this Guild) and c) Permament ban for 5th/6th offense from this RP. So don't break these simple rules!
Parameters:
1. Choose your character to RP as (Captain Jack and Vengeful Don have been taken by myself and Dracoon Arcadia, apologies if you wanted to be a leader!)
2. Choose the difficulty. (Easy, Medium, Hard, Nightmare and Dominator) Whatever difficulty the majority choose, will affect: a) how many monsters there are, b) the map layout for the the buildings and c) how hard the scenarios are.
3. You can RP up to 3 characters max wink
4. After signing up, choose whether you exacuate or fight back for the city. Whatever the majority choose will choose whether is is a "fight" of "evacuate" storyline.
5. No starting in the Underground section. The only exceptions are the Underground Matience Androids, but they are non RP characters.
6. You have 2 lives, normal and zombie. When you're killed by a monster you become a zombie. If someone (monster or person) kills you, you're completely dead. But you can come back as a ghost to watch over your comrades. wink
7. Some buildings will be sealed off until you have a key for that area. When you do, I'll submit a newer version of the map so everyone knows what has just been unlocked.
8. Parameters can change according to the storyline, the updated parameters will be posted.
9. Finally this RP is like Chess sorta; if the King dies you lose. Captain Jack and Vengeful Don are the "kings"
Sorry to overload you with rules, it is for the RP's structure. Now for characters:

2. Army/Police (50 roles left)
3. Civilians (unlimited roles)
4. Monsters/zombies (unlimited roles)
5. Undead captains (9 roles left)
6. Captain Jack (Dracoon Arcadia)

The Map Of Ryder City This map is default for all difficulties. It's only the Underground and Building Maps that get affected. Below is the Key
Key:
Red=building taken by monsters
Green=neutral building
White=underground building
Pink=sealed off building
Blue=water
Brown=tunnel
Dark purple =locked door
Light purple=door
Grey=road
Red, yellow and white blended together=fire
Starting Point 1= starting point for Civilians. They run/fight the zombies at the start
Sp2=starting point for Captain Jack, his bodyguards, the police and the army
US=underground station
S1, S2 etc=shop
By the way, Vengeful Don starts in the middle, surrounded by fire he could absorb.

The Storyline
"It is 2100. Everything was normal like a normal day of work minus the hassle. The illusion of perfection was strong. But that illusion was about to be broken...
It is I, Captain Jack who lives to tell you this tale of bravery and death up to this point. I went to check on Area 51; to check on the experiments. Some Triad gang (I thought they were none existant) tried to revive a guy called Dominic Ryder, the original Captain of this city, hence naming it after him. I saw them try an imcomplete potion on him. I told them to stop, they didn't listen. They claimed they would be treated as Kings, with riches and lots of money. But all they got was a lot worse...
Dominic's body trembled violently and his heart rate trebled. Alarms in Area 51 went off and all the people were evacuated including those above us. (the centre of Ryder City, Area 51 is underground) Dominic transformed into a 50m monster as he trembled. The SWAT and FBI response unit pumped 1000 rounds into Dominic's body. It had NO effect on Dom, and when the transformation was complete, he massacred all of them. Fed on all their bodies. Even the fleeing scientists were eaten alive. Some hid in ventilation shafts and stayed there. They were never seen again. As for me and my bodyguards, we fled quickly from him.
As I fled I saw something scary: the less mutilated bodies transformed into something which I thought was fiction: zombies. As more fleeing people were eaten or mutilated by Dom, they in turn became like him, zombies or muscular undead beings. The Triads had their soul devoured by Dom, so they became his 10 undead captains.
We reached the Maintainence passage and escaped through the subway. We locked the Subway and put the key in one of the shops. I told my bodyguards I wanted to investigate the Maintainence Passage and see if the androids killed the undead. The opposite happened; they became like them. The androids fired knockout gas at me. (the androids all have guns) Luckily my bodyguards retrieved my body. But when I woke up, I couldn't remember where I put the key. The knockout gas gave me amnesia, so I forgot a lot of things. But the bodyguard the retrieved me told me what happened down there. The only thing my bodyguards can't rememer is where I put that key...that key...
I hid in an old war tent in the North West with my bodyguards, discussing what to do and whether to evacuate or fight Don. This is where you come in, so good luck and decide our fate well..."

After feasting on the corpses, Don went to the huge cargo lift (100m by 100m) that was used to transfer HUGE amounts of masonry, metal and other resources. He went with Ryu, the main undead leader. The leader was more human than Don and therefore knows basic knowledge like operating lifts. As Ryu pressed the "Up" button, the lift went to the top floor. Area 51 is 500m underground, well away from the bustling nature of the city. As the life ascended to the top floor, the centre skyscrapers moved aside to make way for the lift since they were attached to movable metal plates. When Don and Ryu reached the top, Don breathed lots of fire, frying the skyscrapers and people nearby. Don then breathed a MASSIVE circle of fire, which stayed on the edge of the central area. It was VIRTUALLY impossible to access Don from the centre and very hard to see him because of the smoke generated by the super hot flames. After sealing off the central area, Don summoned the "Gate To Hell". He then tried to open it for access. He did not have enough strength to do so, despite the number of victims he absorbed. *If only I had enough strength* Then Ryu generated a hologram of Captain Jack being absorbed by Don, then the hologram of the Gate To Hell opened. It was a simulation showing Don what he had to do to bring darkness and chaos to this Galaxy, Fusionist Galaxy. Of course, the Milky Way Galaxy is safe and Satan only wants one Galaxy in his grasp, the Fusionist Galaxy. After seeing the hologram, Don decided to wait for Captain Jack to come to him...

Jack sat in his room twisting a his 9mm around his left wrist. His booted feet rest on the top of the table and he narrowed his eyes. Looking at the latest report of Don he gowled, "Why the heck is he doing this!? And how did I not know!?"
Standing up he threw the paper into the fire and stormed out of his room. Looking to the sky he looked to the smoke. "Don....wait till I get you! You hear me!?"
