Ugh... drawing with a mouse is SOOOOOOOOO tedious! @_@
But here is a sample of my artwork ^_^ I made my avvy for my signature.

I saw a lovely sig around here with gold and a little circle that I kinda wanted but in the end decided to go with my own

That is amazing! Your art work is beautiful, I'm sure anyone (including myself) would pay a pretty penny for it.

When my shop used to be open I charged no more than 5k for a picture unless it was a pair or extremely difficult.
But now that I can't use my tablet or Photoshop it takes just too long to do anything so I closed down.
And in all honestly I was vastly undercharging for my work...
Someone had the gall to tell me I was ripping people off. That person irked me much.

I've often thought about reopening and just not doing detailed work... but I'm in the middle of illustrating a children's book and am way behind on my deadline @_@

You've an awesome gift, I've rarely seen so beautiful drawings. I'd pay much more than 5k. That guy or had no taste or was crazy.

That's awesome=] I'd love to be able to do something like that. I'd also like to draw a few centaur's within the guild, because a lot of avis have inspired me to draw. However I'm not even able to work right now because of a hand injury (I'm a tattoo artist). Sucks to want to do something but not be able to >__o. I could attempt to draw, but it would look pretty bad- and I'd hate to turn out work of mine that isn't as good as I feel it should be.

Your art is beautiful.
Everyone has there own tastes when it comes to art, the person who told you you were over charging probably didn't particularly care for the style.
For example, I was told that my work shouldn't be considerd "art".
I don't particularly disagree with him, I have no skill, but his reasoning for telling me that was simply because he hated Anime.
I believe you could have gotten much more for your art than you did.

I had to mouse draw all my pics I got up in the arena. -_- I wish I had photoshop still so I could work on getting as good as you. Unforunatly I only had photoshop for one month so I couldn't get used to it to get better. Didn't have the time xD One day I will get it again though >.< I wanted to finish this pic. Was still working on the hair and some of the shading! *depressed* I hate leaving things unfinished.
