"If we hadnt had that stop in Brasil because of your longing for hot Brasilian guys we would of been back here days ago" Blythe said as he walked through the door of the cafe he was at a year ago with a certain fire feline he hadnt stopped thinking about for all this time...well, ok so he had a few times but that was just because he decided to go total tourist. "I wanted to come home, a year away from your friends and family is horrible" he said grinning at his friend who had walked to the near by booth and sat down, moving the bags nearer to him so as they didnt get stolen.
"You can talk" Amadeus said watching the butterfly cat sit down across from him "was it not you who 'wanted to check out the sights and sounds' of Brasil before heading home?" He asked as he looked over the menu, thinking of what to order.
"That was only because we were stopping there anyway because you wanted to go boy hunting" he said chuckling.
"Bah, you just dont know how to have fun, thats your problem" he said as he looked up and passed the menu over to the butterfly cat, knowing what to order.
"I have been having fun ever since we left here, I just wasnt one to try and sleep with every guy in sight" he said as he looked over the menu.
"Thats because you seem rather smitten with some fire cat you met once, spoke for hours like over a year ago, I think its time to move on dont you think? Obviously it never worked out, you are beautiful, any guy would LOVE to have you, why wait aroun for some fire cat who obviously has forgotten about you when there are, in the anthro world alone, hundreds of guys who would want to be with you and treat you right?"
"I...I dont know, I guess because I want to see if there IS something more between us? I mean, I enjoyed talking to him, it was nice to just get out and spend time with someone, I enjoyed his company greatly. Why wouldnt I want to see if there could be anything more between us? I am sorry I am not wanting to sleep with every guy I see like you" he said as saw the waiter walk over and ask for their order.
"I will take a pot of coffee, a jug of milk, a plate of pepermint slices and a large plate of narchos, everything on them but a mild salsa please instead of the hot salsa" he said looking at Blythe.
"A large jug of non fat milk, a double chocolate chip muffin, a savory scone, a plate of turkish delight and a large plate of plain wedges with everything on it as well, also make the salasa as mild as my friends please" Blythe said to the waiter who had written it down, nodded and walked off, Blythe looked back at the other and carried on talking.

(( Just a note: I have a rat or two at my place that should probably meet with his beta, if you're interested sometime. x3 ))
Keahi sat in the back of the very same shop purring quietly as he played a one-man game with himself. Sitting with his feet up on his chair and tail wrapped comfortably around his ankles, he perched like a vulture over his dish of ice cream. Sitting alone, almost none of it had melted. But upon scooping up a spoonful, he held it over his head and heated the metal handle just enough to melt it entirely and drip into his mouth. He had become quite masterful at lapping up the melted ice cream without making a mess... however, it seemed a bit undignified, especially for one such as himself, and so had sat down in a back corner out of plain view of even the waiters. Most likely they had even forgotten he was back there...
His fun came to an end however when another pair of patrons entered with a little ring of the bell. His ears folded carefully backward in disappointment as he stopped his little game and swirled the ice cream idly. His mind wandered back to the last time he was here, and the reason he had come back. It was silly to expect to meet Blythe here after so much time had passed, but it had been worth taking such a long shot. Well, he thought so at least.
After a time, the voices filtering in from the other side of the shop suffused into his thoughts and without realizing it he began to listen to their conversation. It was completely by accident, and yet the words and a familiar voice seemed to go so well with his own thoughts that it seemed only natural.
One was waiting for someone, the other telling him he had so many - possibly better - options. Keahi smiled faintly to himself. He and Carlos had heard the same during their absence... they had been gone far too long to pick up whatever pieces remained. It was unfair and unrealistic to expect anyone to wait for a whole year. But sometimes it is impossible to start over, or at least one cannot move on without giving proper closure to the past. Perhaps that was what Keahi had come to do, to put to rest a nagging desire that would never become reality. And once those walls had been torn down... maybe he could finally get back to business. Pick up the shambles of the cat pack and locate the rest of its members.
Well, now his ice cream had melted, completely on its own.
Keahi sighed and lifted the bowl to his lips - there was no better way to finish it off. When he was done he realized just how hungry he was. Perhaps a meal would give him the motivation and energy he needed to go out and do this. Rising to his feet, he brought the empty bowl to the counter and ordered some of the house nachos. If they made them the same as they had a year ago, he was in for a real treat. He smiled faintly to himself, tail waving behind him, as he asked for extra salsa.

((I think I can handle that, though, knowing him, it will be him pissed and gambling but im sure I can sober him up and move him away from the poker tables. XD; ))
Blythe looked up an around the cafe, thinking he had heard a familure voice but given how much this place was rather packed this afternoon, it was hard to find anyone in here so he passed it off as his imagination and sighed.
"So what is it?" The hybrid asked the butterfly cat "thought you heard prince charming?" He asked, half teasing the cat.
"I...I dont know, I guess it was just hopeful thinking" he said as stood to get a jug of water but ended up knocking a glass to the floor instead "shoot" he said as he started picking up the pieces and sticking them into a near by bin.
The hybrid sighed "hang on, let me go get a dustpan and broom or something" he said as he got up carefully and walked over to the counter and stood beside the fire cat and waited.

Can I see a pic of Amadeus? I'm not familiar with him. ))
Keahi half-ignored the the other hybrid as he waited for the nachos. He probably could have sat down and waited there, but he felt like standing. Especially after the sound of breaking glass and the commotion around it. He heard voices whispering loudly but could not really see what was happening. This other anthro was probably here to clean up the mess. Keahi frowned, trying to see over the crowd. He looked back at Amadeus. "You going to need any help with that?"

((Yes, he is one to take to the bottle when hes bored...im amazed he hasnt gotten alcohol poisioning after this year of not doing anything, then again, his body CAN handle many a poision so... XD;  That be the smexy one but it has been nearly two years since he was born so im rping him as an adult.)) Amadeus smiled at the other before telling the waitress he would like a dustpan and broom and she turned and went to get him one, comming back moments later and handing it to him "thank you" he said to her as he looked back at the fire cat "and thank you for the offer but Blythe and I can handle it" he said as he left and went back to his table to help the butterfly cat clean up the mess.

(( Oh yes, alcohol counts as poison. He's probably "immune." XD
And that explains why I couldn't place him... I was looking for adults! But I remember him for sure. x3 ))
"Ah, no problem..." The grin froze on Keahi's face as the feather-winged hybrid went on his way again. Blythe...? What had he been thinking before about long shots? How many people out there are named Blythe? The fox-firecat did not care, he had to know. Sure enough, there was the buttercat cleaning up his mess.
He came to a stop nearby. Several people at other tables were making an effort to ignore the commotion, perhaps out of politeness or respect. Keahi was about to make their efforts more difficult. He cleared his throat loudly - almost sternly, as he watched Blythe. "So... I come with the broom and dustpan. It's all part of the service."

((LOL yes, he is...though at times, I have been SO tempted to see how much poision his body CAN take before getting side effects from one or all of the poisions hes taken in...call it...'far to much time around Kairos'... XD
Ettys cat has bad habbits of rubbing off on people. XD;
And yeah, I want him and his siblings t grow so much! But then again, I think your sister was going to do that or something after she had done the breedings, grow those who want their anthro babies to grow.))
"I have come...oh forget it..." he said as he saw Blythe get up and jump over the mess and wrapped his arms around the cats neck, ignoring everything else "alright, I guess I will just clean up this mess myself, the mess that YOU made, dont worry about me, im fine" he said sarcastically, holding back the urge to grin, see if his friend did anything.
"Keahi!" Blythe had said without even bothering about what his friend had just said "yeah, ok, thanks or whatever..." he said still hugging the fox-cat "I have missed you so much!" He just blurted out before he could stop himself and blushed as he broke away from the hybrid. "Er...anyway...how are you?" He asked turning away from him as he went back and helped his friend clean up the mess with the hope of hiding his blush just as the waitress came over and put their food on the table and Amodeus thanked her.
Amadeus was glad he was now getting help but he smiled softly to himself and rolled his eyes, deciding to let them talk for a few seconds while he gestured for the butterfly cat to go back to the table and he would finish up, which was easier to persuade him then one first would of thought. Once the cat had sat down, he cleaned up the rest of the mess and put the traces of the glass into the bin and went to return the dustpan and broom and went to wash his hands.
"Please, sit down" he gestured to the cat as he moved along so the cat could sit down beside him if he wished, placing his food in front of himself and the rest to where the angelic coon-fox would be sitting and pouredhimself a glass of cream and took a sip.

(( LOL! I would be tempted too... like I would be tempted to see just how badly out of control Iggy would get with alcohol in his system (alcohol + fire = boom!) xD; He has to be careful of his emotions too... I guess 'lovey-dovey' and depression are fairly safe for him, but in the past he has become very angry... and... very scary. x.x;
I had offered to do some too... I may have too many on my plate though. My sis and I share a tablet, so no arting at the same time. x_x;;; ))
Keahi had just enough time to brace himself and catch Blythe as he launched himself at the fox-firecat. He glanced at the other hybrid apologetically - he would never have expected such a reaction. If he had, he would never have come over now with all this commotion... he might have waited until there was less of a crowd, and no friends around... a more cozy setting. Okay, that was just a little far-fetched, of course. Even though the two of them had gotten along so well before, this literally was only their second meeting. But what, then, accounted for the buttercat's enthusiasm?
Oh... perhaps it was pack-related. Of course it was. Blythe's pack leader had been gone for a whole year, and Keahi had never been around to follow up on what they had talked about regarding that... He felt terrible for leaving Blythe after all of that. Of course, he'd have time to explain now, but...
Watching Blythe, the fox-firecat could not keep the flush from his face, even thinking those things. His consolation was that Blythe was fighting to do the same, which only made Keahi smile. His tail swished from side to side as he sat down next to Blythe. He missed me... Of course, the buttercat's actions made that thought more than obvious, but... this... meeting Blythe like this... warmed him in ways fire never could. It was wonderful. It made him smile.
It made him wonder about that saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Maybe it was true...
With the absence of Blythe's friend, Keahi leaned closer, purring quietly in his ear, "Wonderful," and kissing him lightly on the cheek before leaning away to sit erect again.

Ack, yes, that would be a bit of a problem, sharing does suck at times, especially if it meant making your sisters job easier in the long run.
*Sings* and then Blythe goes and spoils it all by saying something stupid like...*says normally* thanks but I just wanted to see another anthro besides Amadeus, sorry for the misunderstanding... *shot* XD))
Alright, so, they were finally back together after a year or so apart, what to do...? What to say...? There was alot to say and yet he couldnt say it, besides, even if he could, Amadeus would be back any second and so it would have to wait for another time. Blythe blushed a little more and he just took another mouthful of cream, savored the taste before swollowing it "could say the same about you" he said blushing a little more as he kissed the fire cats cheek back quickly and went back to stearing at his food.
The fire cat was back in his life and THIS is all he could do? Seriously, noone should like him, he cant even sting together a sentence that consisted of more then seven words, as friends, you would think he would be able to but no, he couldnt, seriously, was he patetic or what?! "Umm...I have something for you while I remember" he said as he finally found the courage to say something to him and he reached behind the cat and grabed his bag, making sure it didnt hit the fire hybrid and put it beside him.
Blythe dug through his bag, finally finding the crystal orb that held a miniture fire djinn within as well as what looked like a small dark, ancient home in the medium sized orb, having done ALOT of talking to Eclipse with help on this gift but, in the end, it paid off and he went on and handed the wrapped orb to him "becarful when you open it" he said to him, hoping the Djin was as friendly as Eclipse has promised.

(( Oh very yes. It's taken him a LONG time to learn to keep his temper in check. xD <3 But Fergus doesn't really have to worry. Iggy won't lose his temper with him most likely. I haven't roleplayed him yet where he did. Though something did happen recently that if he ever meets a certain someone he'll probably find himself without any hair at the very least... x.x;
D8 But wait! I deserve my Iggy. ;_; Animals appreciate tough love, and I put my boys through the ringer... xD;;
Yeah... well my birthday's coming up in a couple months. I'm hoping to get a new one then so she and I won't have to share. And if not then, there's Christmas... *crosses fingers* x3

Keahi watched Blythe with curiosity and a growing sense of amusement. He was flustered! The fox-firecat's tail swished next to him at that very thought. Even so, Keahi's blush deepened when the buttercat returned the kiss. Things were going to get very interesting for them in the future... it did not take much imagination to recognize that.
Watching Blythe rummage through his bag, Keahi could not help but be curious. He had something for him? What could it possibly be? How long had he been carrying it around, waiting to deliver it? Soon enough he beheld the gift Blythe had gotten for him, a smallish wrapped object that made his eyes grow wide. Not only did he want to know what it could possibly be... but he was torn; he had nothing to give to Blythe. However... he had an idea. He knew before opening this gift what he wanted to give the buttercat.
"I have nothing to give you," Keahi said quietly, looking at the as yet unopened gift. He let the sentence hang, as if he was unwilling to take this. "But I will next time I see you, if you'll accept it." He looked up again, gazing at Blythe. This had nothing to do with repayment.

There wasnt a moment h hadnt thought about the fire hybrid in tHAT way, yes, he was TOTALLY jumping the gun and yet, something about this just felt right, he wasnt sure if this was just because he to was part of the cat pack, thus giving him a warmth and trusting feeling around the hybrid or not but he did know he didnt wish to be away from him again, regardless wether it was feelings of friendship or more towards him. "I..." he started, something about what the cat said was a little strange to him, it wasnt just a normal 'oh yeah, it will be a repayment gift for this one', it was something more which made him nod uncertainly a little.
"A...alright, I will accept" he said to him, his curiosity would of gotten the better of him other wise "I guess I should wait to say thank you then?" He said to him, wondering what it could be, 'bad' thoughts comming into his mind, thinking that it was FAR to early to think of those things IF it happens to go that way which he hoped it would but still, he shouldnt be jumping the gun.
((LOL awww now to have been around to see poor Iggy get into such a situation, I love that fire cat so... XD
Yesh, you HAVE to get a tablet for your birthday! If not, subtle hits to parents for a table for christmas can always be a good thing. XD
LOL and I agree! Tough love roxs! Er...just dont tell my boys that, im sure they will kill me... >> XD
And Blythe isnt that mean! Not when hes waited this long to see the fire hybrid agaim. XD))

Well I did write a short story about Iggy and Inari - if you remember him. They get scary, especially Inari, who always seems such a 'happy' person... xD;
I know... it's on my List. So I should be safe, either birthday or Christmas. x3

A huge smile slid across Keahi's smile. "Good. I think you'll like it... You can thank me whenever you like," he added in reply to the question. It seemed a little strange to ask... But he would say no more about any of it. That would be for next time. He nodded to the package in front of him. "Should I open this now, or next time?" Nothing like an exchange of gifts... but it did not have to be.

But yes, I vaugly remember him but I thought he and Iggy got on well...er...to a certain extent anyway, I thought they were at least civil to each other. O_o
LOL yes, it is a good chance you may get it either way then, lets just hope its birthday, not christmas. XD
Well lets put it this way, Angelic boy will be out soon enough...lets just say he should never hve gone to the bathroom alone... wink XD ))
"Well then, I cant wait" he said smiling at Keahi "and you can just open the other gift later then" he said winking at him "meaning, you can open this gift now...well it will probably be best to open this one now" he aid as he ate some of the narchos.

On the other hand, Iggy does not get along with my uni, Jimi. Jimi thinks that polygamy is disgusting... on the other hand, he's not one to talk about relationships. xD; He's just had a lot of bad luck with cats... ;>>

"Good, good!" Keahi was excited now. He could only hope that what he had planned would work out... Now this other gift. "Two gifts?" The fox-firecat blinked. Had he missed something? Did he need to think up a second gift? Or would that seem too much like 'repayment'? It probably would be... "Well, all right." His grin widened again in anticipation as he began to unwrap it.
(( You'll probably need to explain anything I should know as he's opening this. I don't know much about what it's supposed to do. Is this the kind of djinn that grants wishes? I'm probably almost as curious as Keahi at this point... :3 ))

((LOL nah, dont need to worry about him, being the son of a guy who knows how to mummify, he knows all the acupuncture points, sensitive spots etc in the doby, he just needs to touch a certain point and the other guy is immoblized, he is taught well by his mother. XD
Hes just being a man slut by having sex agianst the door to the bathroom, so lets hope noone wants to go to the toilet for a while. XD
Ahh yeah, well...Jimi never HAS been normal but then again what anthro is around this place? XD
LOL well, at least Inari and him can still be friends but then again what is a good argument between friends if you can make up afterwards? XD))
Blythe watched the cat unwrap his gift, the djinn having a fire fit inside the orb once the wrapper was removed "say hello to your very own fie djinn, basically he is a pet, cost me an arm and a leg to get him but he is basically harmless, no bigger then that of a pet mouse. I pulled some strings and the devil himself made him for you, granted I had to talk Eclipse into helping me but I promised he could feed off me, I was weak for a few days but meh, it was worth it and his mate wouldnt of let him do anything to harm me so it was alright.
Anyway all you have to do is just take him out and play with him and thats it though make sure you take care of where he goes, the crystal orb cant be broken by fire, it is fire proof. I got Merlin to make sure of that but other then that hes basically harmless as much as the devil hates that, he wanted to make a powerful one that would destroy the world but Absinthe talked him into not doing that.
But yeah, just feed him flamable liquids, make sure its outside, lets not stick the house out with petrol or whatever, and hes fine, he is actually a tad different then other djinn's, he actually is alot NICER then the others, he is a domesticated djinn so caring for him is like taking care of a dog, I find him rather cute" he said giggling as he opened up the orb which was held in place at the bottom. "Come here sweetie" Blythe said as she took out the Djinn out of the orb and handed it to the fire hybrid "he has a killer bite when he breathes fire, you need to watch that, lets not burn this town to the ground, but other then that, like I said, hes harmless, he just wants love.
I thought this cutie would be nicer then your typical gift, Eclipse actually has a deal struck with the devil as well, I might need to be his feeding post for a few days to make up for this but he owes the devil a tad more for doing this, it is the least I could do for him really, the deal with the devil is worse" he said to the hybrid, hoping the vampire fox will be alright.
