Shadan's birth
Father: Come on honey push.
Mother: I am pushing!
after 10 minutes of this Shadan was born
Father: Hey honey here he is.
but she died during childbirth and didn't ascend.

5 years later
Father/ Zarena: Shadans older sister: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Aros Dakar (future Middle Martian King: Hey pal, how ya doing.
Shadan smiling: Good Aros, thank you.
Father: Now time for presents.
Shadan jumping up and down: Cool, what did I get?
When Shadan opens his presents he finds lots of toys, clothes, and a sword.
Father: Now Shadan follow me
they go outside and a big covered object is seen and when Father uncovers it is a ship
Shadan: YAY! I have my own ship.

10 years later
Shadan is 15, has completed his training and is now considered a man
Shadan: Hey Nenlin how are you doing?
Nenlin (Shadan's girlfriend): Good how are you?
Shadan: Terrific, Im a watch keeper now.
Nenlin: How nice, but I miss having Aros around with his bad jokes.
Shadan: Yeah, too bad he turned evil.
they kiss and leave and go home

about 20 years later, Shadan and Nenlin are married and have three kids, the eldest son being Valin at 10, their daughter Klinlin at 9, and youngest son, Marcon at 8, who stay with their grandfather on Shar Sular.
Shadan and Nenlin are on Shadan's ship in a time-space distortion are
"We need more power" said Shadan
"I'll go see if we can peak any more power" said Nenlin
"Be careful" warned Shadan
Nenlin ran and got to the engine room, got more power, and then as she was heading back to the bridge, a wave sweeped her away.
"Nenlin, where are you" asked Shadan
he turned on the sensors and couldn't find her lifesign anywhere. Stunned Shadan just sat in a corner and wept bitterly
