She's very pale complexioned this is enhanced by her usually bright red lips and bleached blonde hair. She has no freckles or blemishes, and any blush she ever has in purely makeup produced.She has a very long thin face and high cheekbones. Her lips are small but plump and always curved into a large happy smile which most people describe as her best trait.Her teeth by the way are perfect. Her eyes are almond shaped and a deep brown color close to black, and are set under perfectly groomed eyebrows.
Her hair is about midback length and a bright white-blonde that she keeps perfectly kept. She would never dare dye her golden hair, though ania a few times convinced her to tranfigure it into a hot bubblegum pink. People now know them as the cotton candy crew. Or the CCC. Due to the bright beautiful color of her hair, and her pale complexion people have asked if she's related to veela, and she researched finding that indeed her great great great grandmother on her mothers side was part veela.
Her style could be described as fun. She wears bright colors, fun prints, and loved a clean cut outfit. She's often seen wearing a tie at all times, whether it's her uniform tie, or one of the twenty eight ties that she has in different colors and patterns, and w white shirt. When she's not wearing a tie she's wearing her American flag tank top, it was her favorite shirt and showed her roots. She was after all proud to be an American. After a few years of her wearing it people have gotten over being irritated, she was never one to put down other ethnicities or country's she actually was one of the most agreeable people in the school. So she now wears it on most weekends. [history/biography] Jojo Batten was born in Altlanta Georgia, to Tanya and Joseph Batten.As a child she was very powerful and often caused awful accidents to happen, such as their whole swimming pool was turned into a large bowl of jello, and one night the dog, Perce, woke up on the roof of their three story home. For a few years nothing happened really and Her mother wondered if she'd turned into a squib. So the next few years she lived life like a normal child.
She went to kindergarten in a small private school, where she made a few good friends and excelled in her studies. All the way through elementary she had straight A's and a few honors awards for exceptional organization and volunteer work.She often went to summer school to help out her teachers and to tutor other children,even when she got home she was articulate, prompt, and clean. She always had a perfect additude, never did she get angry without reason or throw a fit.Basically she was the perfect child. Until once again problems began to crop up.
One day during the Christmas of her eleventh birthday, her cousin Eddy, a troublesome child was teasing her and when they came inside Jojo was beside herself. She had threatened to make his lips swell so big they'd cover his eyes and, of course she had meant she was going to hit him but just before, his lips had started swelling by themselves. They indeed covered his eyes. After restoring them to their normal size Tanya had sent a hysterical Eddy home with his mother and had sat down with Joanne and her father to discuss Magical training and schooling.
Needless to say, Her mother knew then that she had to go to Hogwarts.
After a few hours they had all decided. Jojo would go to Hogwarts in September. Tanya herself had gone there before she'd moved to the united states and met Joseph, and she though that Hogwarts would be the best school by far for her to attend. Her mother moved with her to england that February, where her Nana Grace lived. They moved into a flat above Nana's house and Tanya prepared her daughter for Hogwarts.
They received her letter in July and went into London for the shopping. The first time Jojo had seen Diagon alley she nearly fainted. Everything was so messy! but she soon came to love the higgedly-piggedly shops and their owners ,some of whom had hugged Tanya happily, and reuniting with her and mooning over her child. "Oh goodness! little Tanya's got a little one of her own! how adorable she is!" Jojo had been polite but had silently begged her mother to make it stop and , on her way out of the stores later that day she rubbed her now rosy red cheeks in pain.
That September she got on the train to Hogwarts with some apprehension but soon it disappeared with the appearance of Annibelle Massey. Annibelle, or Ania as she preferred it was a rough n tumble girl who was messy but Jojo had taken to her immediately. They soon became best friends and they spent their years in Hogwarts, together. They were known for many things, When Ania made a mess for herself Jojo often helped her out of it, and they would both walk away laughing.the most recent oddity the two had performed was walking around with blue and hotpink hair earning the name the Cotton Candy Crew. Jojo couldn't wait to get back.[personality] Firstly, Jojo is kind of a Tomboy, She's not afraid of getting down and dirty, but she'll clean herself thoroughly afterward.=] she Has a slight case of OCD, Everything must be clean cut, and tidy. this meant in every aspect of her life. Her clothes, her hair, her makeup, her room. Everything. Shedoes understand after a few years now that you can't make other people who are not normally tidy, tidy. But she has politley managed to get her dorm mates to keep their things out of her area's and is now fairly happy with that.
Jojo is also very outgoing and fun. She always smiles and is always in a happy or agreeable mood. the only times she's ever very sad is when something hurts her, and it takes quite a bit to do that. Of course she's also very sympathetic. She often helps out anyone that she can, and when she can't she will always listen. Joey Has been called the most agreeable person in the castle, she stops at least four times to make conversation with ghosts, teachers and fellow pupils in the hallways, and is always willing to lend a hand.
Jojo is very school oriented.She believes good grades will be the base for your life, so you should keep them clean and good. She never fails and almost always passes with flying colors in whatever she does, though she has to admit she does have troubles in transfiguration but Ania helps her with that. She's also not a very sporty person, sure she enjoys games, but she's not very good at them. [likes] Ania(bff<3)
