Background:
The son of two extremely wealthy people, Eduard's mother runs one of the biggest companies globally while his father is one of the leading members of the mafia that takes care of most of the western and southwestern part of the city. Though both of his parents were busy, they were often able to make time for him and were constantly pushing him into getting into the business world. Eduard was taught that money makes the world go round. and since business was the best way to get the green, he needed to get into there. Perhaps it was through this kind of education, as well as a sick genius on his part, Eduard became a professional skyboarder in the country's young adult's division at the age of 13. His parents were somewhat surprised that he decided to use skyboarding as a method of becoming successful, but due to his talent in competitions, they did not go against the type of business he had decided to enter into.
Since his main access to cash is through competition, Eduard takes the competitions seriously when he enters into them. If the competition does not offer up a good monetary prize, however, there is very little chance that he would even consider signing up for it. He is currently ranked first in the country and second internationally in the division that he competes in, being one-upped by some Brazilian kid that he's never learned the name of. As such, he has become known as the leader of the Vice Lords and though he's supposed to only be protecting his territory from the Infidels, he has been known to invade their territory.
Other:
Eduard is ambidextrous though he seems to be slightly more left-handed than right-handed. Though Eduard often confronts Infidelity, he doesn't really see them as a threat and if often only toying with them as a cat toys with a mouse. His nickname of Birds is due to, obviously, the designs on his skyboards, which often have many birds perched or flying around in it.

Background:
As much as he jokes around about skyboarding, one would find it hard to believe that Richard is ranked fourth in the country, sixth in the world, and is the third-ranked leader of Vice Lords. A good majority of his time on the board is spent coming up with new tricks and generally making an a** of himself; he considers himself more of a performer than an athlete, though this mindset has helped him capture the attention of judges at many competitions. When he graduates high school in a year, he has plenty of sponsors waiting for him (he would have dropped out already if it weren't for his parents).
Unlike many in Vice Lords, Richard has little desire to be leader. While he admits it would be pretty cool, he does not plan to work hard to get the position. He figures that if he belong there, his talent will get there. If not, he's still third-rank, and only has a year left in the gang.
Richard is one of the gang members who travels the most, going to every competition he can, whether or not it will help improve his rank. He enjoys the atmosphere almost as much as the chance to show off. While some would consider him to be embarassing to the elitist gang, he is actually quite popular, and even has his own fansite.

Background:
At ten years of age, Lorrin first picked up a skyboard as a means of transportation. There were so many places in Zenith City to check out with his best friend, Lance Paden, but so few options of proper transportation were available. Walking on foot was too slow, getting his mother to drive him around was too wimpy, and with either of those methods he wouldn't be able to explore every nook and cranny that he wanted. The option of skyboarding was soon brought up by Lance's older brother, who happened to be amongst the higher ranks of the Vice Lords at the time. Lorrin and his best friend took to skyboarding quickly; they only needed a few lessons from his best friend's brother before they started to get the hang of it and started to teach each other new tricks they discovered. Together the two preteens learned the dynamics of skyboarding, as well as the layout of the city (like they’d wanted to figure out in the first place). The boys were both too young to take part in gang activity, but they promised each other that when they were of age, they’d be on the same team.
That day came, however, and their promise was easier said than done. Lance had already been to competitions with his brother Paul (who was getting too old for gangs too quickly), and had even participated in them. Lorrin, however, had little desire to be labeled by a number or to compete so that others could rank him. While Lorrin drifted into Infidelity, his best friend was accepted into the Vice Lords.
Since the time that Lorrin was split away from Lance, now his ex-best friend, his personality has blunted down. Lorrin has become much more calm and cool (tempered) than he was even a few years ago, and prefers to make real conversation to those he knows and trusts. At all costs, Lorrin will try and avoid talking to a Vice Lord-- but if he’s told to or angered, he won’t hesitate to get into a fistfight with them. On the other hand, if a fight doesn't involve him, Lorrin doesn't feel guilty to sit back and watch.
Other: Lorrin rides his skyboard in the 'regular' stance although in other everyday activities, he is known to be left-handed. Lance's brother Paul (a right-handed, regular-stanced guy) taught him how to skyboard, resulting in how Lorrin rides today.
