Excellent, maybe you can teach customers the proper requirements of betta keeping.
Yeah, I had a red female a while back that refused to eat any Hikari pellets and only noshed on freeze-dried bloodshrimp. Probably why it shrunk to nothing and was promptly torn apart by the others.
ISF mrgreen

ya i got a picky one too.i got pellets cause one thats what i used to feed my roommates(he didnt take care of him) and i read that they were better than flakes health wize and of course he wont eat them he takes it in his mouth then spits it out so i just bought him flakes instead.he likes them at least and his blood worms that i give him once a week if that.

@.@ My new fish is so picky! I can't find anything he'll eat! I gave him some peas, hopefully that'll help, but yah... he won't eat the flakes, or the floating pellets, which my other betta attacks with greed. And I'm not sure where to find 'worms.... any words of wisdom?

Thanks, the soaking them thing... that wouldn't help, the pellets float and they actually sunk from sitting in the water for so long... =,= Hopefully he'll eat teh 'worms Update: Good news! Got some bloodworms today, and walla, the first thing he did was munch two of 'em down. I feel so happy at having finally opened the closed door!
