But I need some help because I've never ever made a banner on Gaia so I'm having problems. I can't get a clear render of the avatars though, they always have a black box around them. Anyone know how I get rid of it?

Do you have photoshop? If so you can make that area transparent.

No, I use GIMP which is similar but I don't think it can do that, let me try....yeah its not working because the avi is in the box to so it ends up becoming transparent to.

I use MS paint so I just click the paint option and color it white. Be careful with the balck centaurs though, part of the fourth leg is the same shade of black as the background.

Darn that sounds hard. >< I'll probably mess up, there has to be another way. I tried making on on tektek but that backround is black to for some stupid reason. It reall makes no sense....
I might make one without using Gaia avatars but I can't find any good material, centaur renders are hard to come by.

I might make one without using Gaia avatars but I can't find any good material, centaur renders are hard to come by. I'll make a topic with all the pics of centaurs i can get.

if you right click -> copy image it'll give you a black background. But if you SAVE the image on your computer and open up the image file, it should be transparent/white depending on whether your program does transparency.
