Alright, I felt like contributing a pic, this is an old one and I have tons of more pics but unfortunately not a scanner.... :'(

Well, made about a year ago and is a robot in process(my friend and I are going to make an online comic), I wanted to check about how it'd look in combat (AGAINST A DRAGON! >: D), oh, and it's the first time a have ever drawn a dragon, most of you will probably say like, "Oh dude, it's all messed up, the fire should come from the mouth!" or something but the answer is no, this is a swedish dragon with arms(Yes, you heard me, the original swedish dragon don't have any arms) and they blow fire through their noses.

Lets see if I can get in a picture...

Me and my friend went for simplicity in the robot and not a bunch of cables and stuff complicating it up although this is not the entirely finished version of the robot so it will get al little more complicated =)

Oh, and it's inspired from Metal Gear Ray in the MGS series, was almost a duplicate of it at first so the stuff about this robot is that there is a cockpit in the head big enough for two passengers(Me and my friend) and ALOT of technical stuff so the robot would be about as high as an 8-story to 15-story building (We've not decided about that yet)

Hehe, well, don't give up cause practice makes perfect as they say and you're well on the way. smile

One thing I did thinking on the dragon was not actually thinking of drawing a dragon but a lot of different "animals" in one, the arms are very human like and... well, it's like a fat snake with arms, legs and wings! But you need to do a kind of guideline showing thee dragons stance... I don't know much about this drawing stuff, I'm not educated in it so I can't really say anything!

Well, I hope you keep drawing cause it's always fun watching art smile

speaking off your last reply. I really don't think there needs to be any education of art at all to be able to draw. Sure, if you want to draw realistically, you can study one what things look like. But a dragon doesn't need any real training to draw. A drawing can be anything from stick figures to murals, but its to each persons opinion of what will be what.

Of course not, practice is really the only thing you need but I wasn't speaking of the art in it self, I was only speaking of methods to use and such which I definetly don't know anything about, there are guidelines to follow if you've had a training in it that helps you but as I haven't had it I can just as easily confuse even if I'm trying to help(not saying that any help is needed to anyone). A professional has more ways to express him/herself of how they act in their drawing but people such as myself don't know what the hell we're doing even though we're following a set of rules in our mind.

I sure hope I've explained well enough for you to understand my point of view in this, if you don't then I understand as I barely know what I'm talking about myself. AND it's 03:00 here and I need to go to bed!

Good Night Y'all!
