~Story~ After recouperating from the massive retaliation of a previous attack on another village, a rather small mixed tribe (as not all of them seem to be from the same tribe, but have banded together) of centaurs settled in the barrens far away. Nearby, a place of ruins (similar to what we know as Stonehenge) with a circle cut into the roof was found. The village elder called a meeting and warned all to stay away, as the shaman would be looking into it the next day. That night, a group of curious centaurs ventured into the ruins, which was long ago (when inhabited by others) known as Solaria Valley, and as the moon aligned with the large circle carved into the roof, a white light shined on the mischevious centaurs, granting them each a great power. But could they handle it? Would they use it for good or for evil? They must find out quickly, as an attack from the spirits of Solaria Ruins is soon to come.

~Rules~ 1. You must be literate. Also, please have a minimum of three sentences for your reply. Under the circumstances of a slow plot and/or few people present at the time, two sentences will be allowed. No one-liners, please.
2. Keep it PG-13; No cybering, a minimum of swearing, etc.
3. All Gaia rules and guild rules must be followed, obviously.
4. Respect the people around you; No flaming, fighting, etc.
5. Violence and romance are encouraged, just don't go too far.
6. No god-modding. That means that you narrate what your character is doing and your character only. Also, in a fight, you cannot say that the other centaur died or that the attack even hit them. It's up to the centaur's player to decide if they were hit or not, and how bad it was. Though, no character is all-powerful and can't be hurt. Everyone has a weakness.
7. I can change these rules on a whim, so every now and then, skim through the front page before or after you check for new replies.

Weapon: Her white magickal umbrella (dubbed Yuki) and her fire aura on right hand and water/ice aura on left hand.
Tempermant: Relatively kind and calm, but feisty and agressive when need be. Beauty-conscious, as her body seems to age faster than she does. (Seeing as each Centaur tribe ages differently, Rin's tribe aged oddly, varying with each centaur.)
Biography: Rinxyss was born into an odd tribe, and little did said tribe know that she would be the last of their blood. A few weeks after the gray centaur was born, an attack on her village wiped out all but her. After wandering into a place of ruins (different from Solaria Ruins), an elderly centaur took her in and became somewhat of a father figure. He raised her until she was seventeen, when the tribe that slaughtered her tribe came to finish her off. Sensing this, the man hid her and was killed instead. The man, whom she called Rara, had previously taught her sacred magickal arts and granted her the magickal white umbrella that she dubbed 'Yuki'. After becoming adept at this lost art, the previously mentioned events of his death happened. To this day, Rinxyss is out to avenge Rara and her tribe. She found the unnamed mixed tribe after venturing village after village, finally accepted.
Mate: N/A (has vowed to never have a mate, as she ended up falling in love with Rara, which he seemed to notice at some point)

Biography: At one point in time, Lumina lived with a herd of centaur who devoted themselves to peace.
The events that surround Lumina's past are full of mystery, as she has disclosed no information as to why she was banished from her former herd.
All the villagers do know is that Lumina is stickler for her ways, only seeing her own point of view.
Lumina constantly believes that there is a battle between light and chaos in the world, and preaches that only fools think violence can solve anything.
Because of this, she has come to be unpopular in the village, and prefers the company of animals to others.

She studied for many years in the Covenant to learn all of their ways, and is still eager to learn all that she can. Despite her old age, she still appears a bright young woman, but passes her wisdom onto younger Centaurs whenever she can.

Thread Construction: Me =D A bit of info about some stuff from the Story~ The whole 'mixed tribe' thing: Seeing that one of the centaur's age is 200-something and they're young, and some are 18-20 years old an young, it's obvious that they're from different tribes. But, this is one tribe, so they must have banded together in the past. :3

As the star-painted sky grew even darker, Rinxyss, hoping that everyone was sleeping, near-silently trotted out of her family's hut in the village. She, after a good few yards away from the village, galloped through the barrens until she was at her destination: the forbidden ruins of Solaria Valley.

Lumina looked up at the heavens, bleary eyed. No matter how hard she tried, she was still baffled by the mysteries of stargazing. She sighed, before taking a short walk back to the village. As she grew closer to her destination, her ears perked up slightly at the sound of hushed voices.
"Did you hear? They say the Solaria Ruins hold the secrets of the ancients!" A voiced whispered, their tone picking up slightly with excitement.
"You don't say? To think of all the knowledge one could gain! The mysteries of the heavens, within your grasp!" The other replied.
'The mysteries of the heavens?' Lumina thought excitedly.
"Are you thinking of going friend?" the first voice whispered.
"Hah, maybe if I was a bit younger! But with these old hooves, there's no way I could make it through them. Besides that, it's supposedly very dangerous. The Shamen have forbidden anyone from going near there." The second laughed, before sobering up.
As the men continued their conversation, Lumina's mind was buzzing with thoughts.
'So, the ruins are dangerous. But imagine what one could do with that power! Think of all of the good once could achieve. But...
What if someone want's to use it for chaos?'
Without a second thought, Lumina galloped towards the barrens, paying no mind to the alarm behind her between the two shocked centaurs.
Little did she know of the dangers that lay ahead in the ruins.
There was no way she was going to let power like that fall into the wrong hands, even if it meant risking her life in the process.

As Rin heard hooves tapping at the terrain of the barrens, the first thought that hit her was: Trouble.
She could be seen. Solaria Ruins was simply left with an intact wall in the back that reached to the side almost fully, with pillars of the former walls holding the roof up. Hoping that she hadn't been spotted yet, Rinxyss dashed to the side where she could no longer be seen, almost crashing into the wall and destroying the ruins. You pathetic klutz! she mentally insulted herself, You could've destroyed the ruins altogether! Wait.. what's that light.. The gray centaur's thoughts drifted away as the moon began to align with the circular hole above her, shining a partial white light on the centaur.
This feels so.. I can't even begin to describe it.. I..

"Well, this is a surprise, isn't it?" came a wholesome female's voice, though it was quieted so it would not echo too far. The grey centaur, Mot, stepped up silently to see the trespasser. Clearly trained with stealth, the only thing heard of her was the swish of her grassy leggings, and a very quiet trot. "I hadn't expected to see anyone else here, seeing as this place is suppose to be forbidden." She smirked slightly, finding some humor in this.
