Hm..This is just a freewrite i did awhile ago. Im sadly very proud of it though it doesnt make sense and Im ever going to finish it...But it will still be my first post!

Pale moonlight filled up a large clearing in the middle of the woods and half an hour ago snowflakes had started to flutter down from the sky. Winter had come 3 weeks early. Not many people came into the clearing or wanted to, superstition had caused this. The clearing really was a graveyard, 13 unnamed graves counted. In the middle of it was a large oak tree. Old and twisted with black bark that looked as if burnt and an untamed rose vine climbed its trunk. A girl with wild frantic eyes and long messy brown hair stepped into the clearing. Her bare feet crunched in the thin layer of snow and she nervously took another step. She found her way and sat under the tree staring at her hands. Her body racked and she blinked repeatedly as she stared at her hands. A deep red color dripped into the snow, she knew it wasnt her own blood. She closed her hands into fist and glared over to her left. Someone was watching her.

She closed her hands into fist and glared over to her left. Someone was watching her. "What do you want?!" She wanted it to be a scream but her voice was dry and Shaky. No one answered. She pounded her fists on the ground in frustration, the snow quickly melted beneath her hands. Then she realized that back in the castle she had taken her gloves off...It surprised her. She hadnt taken off her gloves since she was 3,10 years ago. There was a good reason for it as well. Kyria curled up in the snow and stared at the clouded sky, tears running down her face.

The truth of it was that it wasnt someone who was watching her, more rather something. Actually, the old owl had come around by accident. It blinked, its green eyes shining in the dark and it tilted its head watching the girl from the rose tree. He had just been sitting there cleaning his feathers after his long flight from a completely different kingdom and back. When a girl suddenly came out of the shadows. The owls thoughts immediately led to his master. What was with the girl anyway? She was covered in coppery smelling blood and she was being careful not to touch anything with her hands. Defiantly, Master will want to know. The owl thought and stretched out his wings. Quietly he jumped off and flew into the woods, easily dodging the trees and soaring over the ground. The girl didn’t even notice, she was to busy staring at her hands. The owl knew exactly where his master was and headed straight for an old crumbling castle by the side of a river that ran through the forest--Seemingly had been abandoned for a long time.

Rune smirked at his dim reflection in the yellow stained, cracked mirror. His hair came in black wisps over his forehead nearly covering up the black eyes that were steady and tired. He needed a haircut but he would never find time for it. Three minutes earlier he had woken up from troubled sleep covered in cold sweat and the wool blankets twisted tightly around his legs. The aftertaste of a bad dream not yet remembered still in his mouth. He turned from the mirror and yawned. The past week he had only gotten around 6 hours of sleep. Tracing this castle wasn’t an easy task and he had almost been caught. Rune suddenly looked up. The white-feathered owl sat watching him from the perch he had screwed into the wall when he came here. The owl’s name was Claw. He had just come back from the mission Rune had assigned him a month earlier. Rune nodded his head as if at the owl as if to say he was allowed to speak. The owl tilted its head and blinked a few times. The room was silent for a long time, each minute passing Rune’s eyes growing with wonder. Rune understood everything the owl was saying. As a child rune had been blessed by a soothsayer and was given the power to speak with owls. “A girl…?” he asked, his eyes looking to no direction in particular.

Silvy woke up from a dream screaming bloody murder. “Amethyst! Amethyst!” The girl jumped out of the blankets and ran to the other side of the room to stuff all her few belongings into a silk black bag. She hurried to fold up the quilt blanket and looked up in time to see purple mist clearing a shining black-scaled dragon looking at her with curious eyes. “Amethyst they’re coming, we have to leave now!” The dragon nodded and blinked its red eyes 3 times. The purple mist became to come over again tangling around the girl and the dragon’s feet forming slowly and licking higher as the seconds passed. Silvy slung the bag over her shoulder and hugged the quilt her mother had made. She stared at the door in fear. Her family name was Draco-they were the dragon keepers of Scarecrow. Silvy was given an extra power when she was born, to see the future in her sleep and it was the only reason why she was alive today. The Shadow family had a grudge against the Dracos, something lost in the past and only the elders really remembered. They assassinated all the Draco family and roots 7 years ago. Silvy was the only one who could get away with her dragon egg not yet hatched. They were still after her planning to destroy Draco completely. The mist was up to Silvy’s shoulders, her breath caught as the door to the room was kicked open. “You!” One of the men yelled. To late. The last they saw before the girl they hunted and the dragon that accompanied her disappeared were two pairs of floating red eyes. They flashed, and then the room was completely empty.
