This is my current work in Progress (WIP) and it's actually for a contest on DeviantArt...it's a pheonix character, but I still have yet to finish coloring the arms and add thewings. Critiques are always welcome also!

I really like the character design and his hair.

As for critique I suggest studying facial anatomy a little more. Yours is fine but a little more practice and it'll be great. Like the whole face shape could be changed, but that's the style of anime I guess. (I'm not fond of the whole typical anime face shape, but that's just me) Also his left arm seems to be thinner than his right, which shouldn't be the case since the right is farther away. More shading would be nice (But i realise it's a WIP of course).

But wonderful start anyways! ^_^
