"The rustle of bamboo leaves... Can she hear it too... I wonder..." Balmung said as his voice echoed through the area.
As players in kimonos walked around putting their wishes on paper and tying it to the bamboo leaves. A loud voice was heard throughout the area: "Here Ye, here ye! The Annual Tanabata Festival Event is about to begin!"
As players gathered around a small stage they say an announcer introducing the Event. "Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for our MAIN EVENT," Shadow started, "a dramatic reenactment of the star-crossed lovers' meeting or what we like to call 'The Great Space Race'! We have already picked our Princess Orihime! The players competing in this Event will try to win the part of Hikoboshi and will receive a kiss from our Orihime and a mysterious item. Princess Orihime's identity will be revealed in the end of the event." Shadow said as a shroud of smoke covered the Mysterious Princess.
"Welcome to the Milky Way River!" Shadow said as a river appeared out of nowhere and sperated the stage and the contestants. "As you all know, the night of the Tanabata Festival is the one night when the Weaver Princess Orihime and the Cow Herder Hikoboshi can meet. It's said that on this night, the two lovers in the Milky Way to cross and see each other. Now, let's see who can cross the vast expanse for a date with our lovely Orihime! Be warned there are monsters in this area that you must defeat to get closer to the stage and to meet your Princess. Good luck to everyone and follow the battle system rules."
Battle System(Ryu Mibu's idea):
You get 10HP, when HP goes to 0 you're out.
To cause damage select a target, and roll a six-sided die, if it is an even number do two damage, if it is an odd do one. You cannot attack someone who is 10 or more spaces ahead of you. To defend you must state that you are defending in the post before you are attacked (You only get 2 defends, if no one attacks while you're defending it still counts). Roll a six-sided die, the number you roll is the amount of damage reduced.
To advance roll a six-sided die, and move the same amount of spaces as the number you rolled. Also you must wait for everyone to at least go once before you can go again(If someone is offline they get their turn skipped). In every post you must state your current total, if you don't your turn will be counted as invalid(The first turn is an exception).
To get to Orihime you have to roll a total of 45 (All your advancement rolls combined)
Bonus: There will be bonuses!!!! If your advancement die total adds up(Ex: First turn you rolled 3, second turn you rolled 2, add them up and that's your total) to any of these numbers you will receive a bonus.
1: Swap place with the person in the lead 7: Advance by 5 13: Advance by 7 20: Go back 2 spaces 27: Attacked by a monster lose 2 HP 35: Get pulled under water, your turn get skipped 42: Advance by 2 43: A trap! Lose 3 HP 44: Go back 3 spaces

Just like it is in the book. The player race through the water or us the players as stepping stones to get to the other side.

I guess for jumping on other players heads and using them as stepping stones would be dice roll(above 5 using a one-sided die) and it's the first the the Princess.

The Orihime event should get its own battle system.
Battle System:
You get 10HP, when HP goes to 0 you're out.
To cause damage select a target, and roll a six-sided die, if it is an even number do two damage, if it is an odd do one. You cannot attack someone who is 10 or more spaces ahead of you. To defend you must state that you are defending in the post before you are attacked (You only get 3 defends, if no one attacks while you're defending it still counts).
Well that's my idea for a battle system.

"Orihime!!!!!! I-I'mm gonna...." Ryu says as he leaps forward, he was clearly drunk. Earlier that day his company threw a party, he got drunk and did some things that he'd regret the next day*. Why he plays "The World" after he just did some heavy drinking? Only God knows...... and maybe Yata**.
((Note* The things that he did at the party; he fondled his assistant, made out with the Prosecutor{She already seemed to have something against him in the courtroom and outside of it} and he said vulgar things to his senior{The person with the most experience}. Note** As for the Yata thing, since Ryu works for CC Corp. part time, he also works for Yata.))
