I'm terrible, I'm currently in crutches and off work due to a knee surgery I had a couple months ago, and now I've gotten into this terrible habit. I'm going to sleep at noon and waking up at midnight. The other day I was out and fell asleep just before dinner, so I sorta broke it, but its 6pm and I'm just about to doze off again.
Any of you go through this crap often? Any good methods of countering it?

Nah I find the best way to fix it is to force yourself to stay up by watching tv or drinking caffine all day then force yourself to sleep at a regular time. It'll take about a week for things to naturally settle in.

Hah... I take sleepy pills. Only thing that works (and not always, isn't it a b**ch?)
Try energy drings if you're falling asleep too early. And do something that bores you to death when it's time to sleep. Don't sit in front of a tv or a computer, sit in a comfortable chair or lie in bed with the lights off. Eventually is should feel normal to go to sleep at a good time.

Wear yourself out when you're awake. Walk, shadow box, do sit-ups, or dance. If that fails, do some strenuous work, involving a lot of lifting or walking.
Whatever you do, try to stay up until the time you'd like to start going to sleep. Then and only then should you go to your room or lay on your bed. If possible, try to avoid reclining.
Also, I'd suggest starting to take a multivitamin of some sort--preferably one with vitamin c included. Not only does taking one of those make you healthier, it makes you feel much better when you do it regularly. Perhaps the better you feel, the less you'll sleep during the day?

My sleeping pattern is seriously screwed.
I go to bed anywhere between 2-6AM and wake up between 2-4PM. >: It's terrible, lol.

I usually sleep in the morning and stay up at night (my sight and senses are better in the dark, it gets weird if I go down stairs at night because the house I live in is old and there are always knives and silverware making noise at night (I think this house is haunted, minus the piano sounds eek )). I've always been more active at night, and less active in the daylight ever since I was born.
