Isato took a few long breaths and brought his fingers up through his hair. He wasn't all that sure what he was going to do yet. He had been musing over the idea of going on a mission that he had been told about. It wasn't even so much a mission as it was a quest, or a public service. He didn't really expect to get anything out of it. His job was to go out to a secondary ninja village that wasn't even really a ninja village. He was hoping that things would solve themselves if he went on that mission, but for some reason he was less than optimistic about that outcome. If he were to go on this mission, he was sure that things weren't going to go as he had planned.
Apparently the problem was with a villain who had seized control of the village and apparently was doing some very questionable things. He sighed softly. He knew that usually people didn't go for that kind of mission. There were too many politics involved, and usually this kind of mission wasn't even handed out a mission. That was probably why he hadn't really been given it as a mission. He had instead, overheard the person who was trying to hire some shinobi to help them. It was just a case of him being in the right place at the appropriate time. He smiled softly and then shook his head slowly. He could save the village, but probably not by himself. It was a sad case. He was pretty sure that he couldn't recruit the rest of his team for this little save the world mission. Hatari might join, just because he knew that it was something that he shouldn't do, but Hatari was famous for doing things that he knew he shouldn't do.
Isato sighed softly, the problem was that Hatari would probably be the only one interested in the mission at first. The rest of the group would of course join after Hatari told them to, because they always did, but Isato wasn't sure that he wanted to start a group like that. If he was going to take people with him, Isato was pretty certain that the people he wanted to take with him would be people who wanted to go through with the mission for their own reasons. People joining because they wanted to follow Hatari were no good for him. They would just get in the way and slow him down. He closed his eyes and took a few long breaths before looking down at his hands for a moment. That being said, he was probably the only one other than Hatari who would recognize the need for them to go on this mission, and even Hatari was only likely to go because he thought he shouldn't. That wasn't the kind of person that would help them all that much in this kind of problem.
He brought his hand up and rubbed at his eyes for a moment. He didn't like the idea of going alone. He wasn't sure what he could possibly do anywhere if he was all by himself, but what other choice was there? He sighed softly and closed his eyes for a few moments. Even if he headed to where he needed to be, he would be going alone, and he had no reason to believe that these people would even want his help. So far he hadn't done anything that was all that impressive. He was a shinobi, of course, but that didn't matter if your skills were lacking and there was little or nothing that you could do about fighting, or about people who were especially strong.
He sighed softly. The only thing he had to do really was try, and he wasn't sure why that idea bothered him so much these days. He always found himself with the job to just try, and he always found himself struggling with that idea because he didn't want to have to try. Things shouldn't have been this difficult. Things shouldn't have been like this at all. He closed his eyes again and took a long breath. What was he going to do? He could try and find the people who had been trying to make this a mission, but really...they were probably gone by now. They probably knew that they weren't going to get the help that they were looking for here, and then they had left, and were probably headed home by now. What was he supposed to do?
