Good job! I was more thinking along the lines of pluck the feathers. But i guess your idea is less messy. There were two answers to this riddle. Either chicken or an ear of corn! 3nodding

Now, I'm just in the groove, baby! Answer: Silence.
But for some reason this riddle made me think of a Cat Stevens song that I can't remember the name of. The trigger phrase is "Silence is broken" but that's not the name of the song. Umph, now it's gonna bug me. Hafta call my mom. She's a Cat Stevens groupie. Sort of. Okay, she was when she was in high school, but she won't admit it. mrgreen

S'okay, Cat Stevens is a bit before your time. Okay, he's alot before your time. He was a folk and ballad singer in the seventies. He's since retired and converted to Muslim. I tease my mom, but there's not a Cat Stevens song that I don't love too. The song I was thinking of was "Morning Has Broken." I put together a short playlist of his songs if you want to have a listen. They're here. The first song is the one I was thinking of. As for the riddle, um... I'm not sure yet. I'll think on it.
