AUGH. THAT SUCKED SO BAD.
So, I'm getting hungry, as I haven't eaten all day. I get up to fix a snack, pretty happy with the world. Head to the kitchen singing the 2Sense theme song. Bend over and pick up the toaster.
As I start to straighten out, the toaster's cord catches on something and the thing goes FLYING like a ******** projectile. It swings down like a ******** hawk and NAILS the bone bit on the outside of my ******** ankle.
Now, anyone who's ever had an injured ankle will tell you that it is ******** AWFUL. So I'm almost on the floor, grabbing the counter to keep from falling to the ground and writhing in ******** AGONY, and I hear a SMASH.
I think to myself "That ******** toaster had better not be broken." And of course it ******** was. It was in two damn pieces, for ******** sake. So, I hobble over to the infernal contraption and try to put it back together.
After two failed tries, I give up and set the damn thing on a cookie sheet and plug it in, because ******** if I'm giving up my snack because of some piece of s**t that can't stay in one piece. I pop in my waffles, and guess what.
THE DAMN THING WORKS PERFECTLY. DAMN IT.
So I'm having waffles. And wondering how to put the bottom back on the toaster.

I never had my ankle hurt before so I can't really sympathize with you. >:

Pliers seemed to have worked. I apparently ripped off the little door on the bottom. Ankle still hurts like hell, though. I think I bruised the bone. O_<

In dreamland grandeur, I held mesmerized peace...
Ohh, I know your pain. Though I've never had anything swung into that particular area, I did dive wrongly on it in volleyball practice years ago. I couldn't walk right for two weeks. D:
Hope you heal up faster than I did and that it feels better soon.
...and innocence breathed again.

I hope you feel better!
(I'd make the waffels then smash the toaster with a hammer... but that's just me.)

Enarette: It only really hurts when I poke it now, but still, ow. I have weak ankles to begin with, so I can't run or anything, so no injuries there that have hurt quite that bad before.
Kannachan13: Thanks! Can't smash the toaster, though. I might want more waffles later....
