What did everybody think of the new book? I liked it, but I was sad Minerva wasn't in it. It was like she disappeared. D8 The Artemis vs. Artemis thing on the pylons was the best part, I think.

You might wanna put "spoilers" somewhere in the subject heading.
Yeah, the pylons thing was pretty cool. What I really liked was how everything came full circle. Then there was the scene with Angeline/Opal, where you didn't know which Arty was narrating 'til the end, which was neat.
I heart Beckett Fowl.

But in all seriousness, I did have to reread it a couple times. I felt rather tingly with the surprise, but yeah, it could have been done in a more fluid fashion.

Yes, I wish the HollyxArty was made a little more fluid as well. :/ I love the pairing, however...

Well in all honesty, I just feel like the last book was... very... under me. D; Maybe it's because I'm older now, but it just seemed way too simple. He could have done a lot more with the book. xP Maybe it's because I'm always rping with Milkyway & reading his stuff, but... yeah. u__u

I thought it was basically up to standard, but 14-year-old Artemis didn't really get much of a chance to show off his genius...
The time paradox had my head spinning around in circles. It was weird that there was no clear starting point. It went in a full circle, but it's not clear how it started. For Opal to have come forward Artemis would have to go back, but in order for Artemis to come back Opal would have had to come forward... -.-

I had to read the explanation of the paradox a second tiem before I comprehended it fully.
Sorry Beautiful, but I missed Minerva. I wish there'd at least been a mention of her. there are much worse Mary-Sues out there. And Juliet... I would have liked to see some of her too.
Maybe favorite thing, I would have to say, would be how the end of this book leads right into the first book. I actually oculdn't help but go back and read the first one immediately after I finished Time Paradox.
The final trick on Opal, with Professor Primate was perfect... Except for, now Myles doesn't have a lab partner... "History will Remember this Day... " Of all the statements it could have gotten stuck on, that one was perfect.
And the Myles/Beckett argument? *gently glomps Myles* I think Beckett is definitely the normal one. Well, somewhat normal I suppose two year olds don't really like diapers... And, he gets major pints of the Espresso.Treacle mixture and staying up for 26 hours straight... Remind me not to let him anywhere near a No-Doze Caffiene pill...
But, Myles' "Simple-toon" just stuck with me...especially when he calls Artemis it at the end.
Overall, good installment, but I'd like to see something less galactic next time...
We all should have known it was coming after Lost colony...He was just testing the waters before he sprung the paradox on us....

It was...anticlimactic. But I still think it was better than some of the other books.
