I've been working on my Tsuki's Story series for about a year. I have nine chapters up on another website, although I need to delete the ninth chapter and put up the updated version. I have twelve written all together right now. I hope you enjoy the first one!

Tsuki's Story Chapter 1: Midnight Feast: Of Fear and Blood

His footsteps echoed off the stone ruins of the London slums. The blood pounded in his head. He had to get away, flee from this place. Terror, pure, unrestrained terror, came off the man's body, almost seeming like waves from the fat, rich man's body. He heard the chilling laughter everywhere, saw the ghostly face in every shadowy corner. He knew the thing was just playing with him like a toy, whipping him on with the bloody whip of fear. His muscles screamed in agony, pleading for the chubby man to stop but terror and the basic instinct of survival drove him on, hounding him within his own mind.

He saw the freezing, merciless eyes appear in front of him, the petrifying laugh echoing around him, rooting him to the spot. That was when the doomed man's mind used the last and final defense mechanism, the reversion to an animal instinct, nothing but a basic need. Baring his teeth in a feral grin, he attacked the eyes that so threatened his existence. But, instead of the offending murderer, a wall was very, very solid, as he very quickly realized as the man reverted to a human thought process.

“Ello, poppit. No where left to run, eh?” a cold, British voice whispered into his ear. Then, he felt it. A moment of excruciating pain as something pierced his skin and then the feeling of being drained. Burning shackles ripping his blackened soul from his body, marching him to the skeletal, flaming gates of hell. The door contained the faces of those he killed and, later in life, had ordered kill in his assent to the pentacle of power and success. The gates opened as all those faces combined into one, the one that the shackles where pulling him to, then he saw swallowed, screaming and flailing the whole way.

The vampire heard the last scream distantly, drinking deeper and deeper, pulling every ounce of blood he could from the corpse. The heated liquid granted him the feeling of living in his cold eternity, granting him one more day in this hell. He tasted the flaws of this man. Greed, the love and desire to see others suffer, unquenchable blood lust, extreme pride.
Then, he tasted what he liked the most. Terror, terror in its full, unbridled form. This is why he toyed with these doomed souls. That push, the pull, the directing brought that raw emotion to a fever pitch, perfecting it's sickly sweet taste. He loved the taste, the scent.

The vampire pulled back, leaving just a trickle of blood, just enough for the ritual. Taking a knife from his cloak pocket, he cut a symbol just above the man's heart. Sealing it within a box of blood, which had been circled with earth, he placed a blood covered palm over the seal.
From the void thou wast born, back to the darkness I command thee to flee.” Tsuki murmured. The shadows on the ground rose and engulfed the pale corpse. Pushing down, it was swallowed by the darkness, becoming submerged in a pool of black, sinking slowly lower and lower. The shadows dispersed back to their original positions, leaving the ghostly palm face down on the ground, the vampire kneeling next to the spot.
