Blurbs: Poetic and not. You get used to the things they do. You get used to what they mean to you. You get used to the s**t you weren't used to.
Your the drug I can't resist, The stranger I wanna kiss, And the person I'll always miss.
Picking your nose is like picking all the bad things out of life. ~Courtesy of S.S. (ma amie a MHS) Peeing your pants is like being; you never know what good comes out of it. ~Courtesy of K.V. & S.S (ma amies a MHS)
All these tears I've cried. All these memories I have to hide. All these fears I keep inside. All these hopes and dreams have lied. All these painful thoughts have tried, And succeeded in making my heart die.
All my fears are now a part of my reality.
Even the greatest people in life have a fear to hide.
Life is like new underwear: it is varied, amazing, and gone in a short time.
Sheets Fell out of bed today, I wish this would go away. Everything's so crazy, And things have become hazy. When will the sheets fall away? The tangled feeling; The helpless reeling; When will the sheets fall away?
Somewhat lyrical.... written on August 4, 2006 on a plane going back to Germany from summer vacation in the States...
Dorks Mismatched clothes. Strike a pose. Infectious smiles, Go for miles. Silly words, Soar like birds. Look in the mirror. Love what we see. Any admiration? Love the complication! We are who we are. We do what we do. Call us strange, But we'll never change. We are beasts! Nothing less in the least! Stuff it with a cork Because we are amazing DORKS!!
P.S Thank you Drowning Rainbow!! (my new best gaia friend!) She was my inspiration!!!! I heart YOU, MY BESTEST DORK!!!!!! rofl
Painting the Canvas. so. same english teacher asked us another question. "how are you going to paint oyur canvas this year? how will that piece of canvas fit into your entire life (on canvas)? or, in other words, how will that piece of canvas fit into the masterpiece of your life?" well, none of us really knew at the time. so he explained it to us. he said "everything you do, say, are, create, explore, imagine, (etc.), is part of the canvas you paint." he asked us to list everything we were doing, planned on doing, or did. then he said "now think about what these things say about you and what they look like on your canvas." we did. he said "does the canvas have bright colors filled with happiness, fun, and no regrets? or does it have dark colors filled with gloom, and regrets? are there splashes of random designs, squiggles, or curves that display a life well ridden and traveled, filled with ups and downs, excitement, and newness? or is it dull and complacent, reserved and self-loathing, with lines, and when curves do occur, they go down, instead of squiggling? does it have animation to it or does it just lay there emotionless? are there any extra features, like feathers, glitter, beads, etc.?"
then he said "think about this canvas as you finish high school and go about this last year. are you doing everything you possibly can and will do to make that canvas look the way you want it to at the end of the year?"
he ended on this: "don't let yourself regret not doing the things you wanted to do. this applies to all of life, not just this school year, or high school. so what will your canvas look like when you finally leave this life?"
will you paint a beautiful, admired canvas?
Carpe Diem. Carpe the Diem before the Diem Carpe's you.
Live Life; Live in the Moment; Never Stop; etc.
these are just a few of the translations to the most famous quoted Latin words in history.
my English teacher (this year-HS senior year) told us to always live life. he encouraged us to do whatever the hell we wanted as long as we lived for ourselves and the benefit of others and as long as we were happy with everything we've done or will do. he asked us several questions over the year, and they all revolved around carpe diem.
his words still ring true.
we should live in the moment, for the moment, as the moment because we never know when we will forever leave this plane of existence and travel onto another.
so CARPE DIEM!
are you going to? i know i am.
P.S. this is only a portion of my stuff. if you like it: cool and thanks. if not, or u want to give me any criticism to help make anything better: cool, thanks and i'll try harder next time.
