Ariadne System The Ariadne system has long been known as the Desert Jewel of the Empire. Long before the Sauzer Heresy blighted the whole of Draconia the Ariadne system has been one of the richest in the Empire. With the destruction of Second Gaia the Emperor has temporarily moved the Empire's capitol to Ariadne V, a virtual paradise springing from endless desert, Ariadne V has massive cities that pierce into the gloom of space. The planets of the Ariadne system are all desert worlds without exception and there are a total of five of them each one unique in their own way. The main exports of the system are it's spices, pleasure girls, and artwork while it's main imports are food, water, and raw materials. Because the trade of so many systems come through Ariadne the system makes most of it's vast wealth from taxing said trade via tolls and tariffs. Event: Coronation Ceremony and Anointment of the new Emperor
The sun had just climbed over the horizon and the Imperial Palace was buzzing with activity. Soon to be Emperor Arkunish was busy preparing for the ceremony while his Twin Crown was being cleaned and removed from the Sacred Vault. Arkunish was heavy with concern because of the state of the Empire but looked forward to continuing where his father left off. Unlike his father his Ceremony had two purposes one was to seat the Twin Crown of Draconia on his head and the other was to marry him off to his new wife Lady Bhuvisha of Calcuri a Countess from Ariadne II. The whole of the Empire either tuned in via Tachwave Sensovision and Holovids or, for those with sufficient money, attended in person. There were many high profile people from extremely powerful and loyal vassals to captains of industry and religious heads. Security was very tight and the Majordomo Royal Guard was further assisted by Pax Dei, Manus Dei, Occulus Dei, Inquisition and Templar Knight details.

As the ceremony was abotu to begin, An GaiaFed General, Admiral and Ambassador to the Empire wanted to speak to Soon to be Emperor. They had to talk to him soon.

Aridine V Outside the palace, the men of planet Varclan were paraded in full dress uniform in block formation with the rest of their formation. Captain Mana Landguard was set for promotion in the regiment, as his Colonel had been killed in action, and he was seniour captain. He was set for Imperial recognition.Grand Admiral Jason Spencer,

Aridine V Grand Admiral Spencer shifted his weight on his crutches as they pushed into his wrists. He wished he'd taken the offer for flash healing but his men wouldn't recieve this, unless dying and he felt it inappropriate to do so himself without being dying. He'd permitted his ribs to be flash healed, but his leg was still broken at the ankle, and healing well.

The Admiral that had the time to talk with the Grand Admiral was walking around the palace. Admiral Ash had some Marines help with the guard dutys. Admiral Ash walked around and he saw the Grand Admiral and went over to him. "First time ever at Royal Ceremony?"

Aridine V The Grand Admiral shook his head slightly, careful that it didn't move his head too far. "No. I was present as an ensign when the previous Emperor, May Yevon guard his honoured soul, was coronated. I and my sister, who was becoming a Templar knight."

Aridine V The Grand Admiral begun to frown then shifted it to his usual expressionlessness. "What happened to the Supreme Commander? I had believed him still on active service?" He made a mental note to have ICARUS investigate this later.

Admiral Ash looked at the Grand Admiral, "He died on an mission protecting the Vanger Republic. We now have an new Supreme Commander." THen he leaned closer to Jason. "Personal, I don't trust our new Supreme Commander. I thinks, he was planning something."

The Admiral smiled abit, "well i can get ahold of one of my friends who is an general. But I don't know if I should do something because if I'm wrong. I will be kicked out of the military." Then one of the marines that he posted nearby ran over to the Admirals. "Sir, I'm sorry but we just got an message from Rear Admiral Moon. She say that Superme Commander Mark as betrayed us and that he has joined forces with the forces that are right now attacking the Vanger Republic." The Admiral eyes wided and looked at the marine. "What! are you sure?" he asked and the marine nodded. "s**t," then the Admiral looked at the Grand Admiral. "I knew it, Grand Admiral. I will be off. I need to support the Rear Admiral with as many forces as I can." Then he slauted and headed for the door. He had to get his fleet to Vanger Prime.

((I am going to be the lazy a**, who hasn't posted in god knows how long, and just randomly jump into the story :p Not that it makes much difference, no one's posted in a month. And I can't remember my own ranks in the Templars, so I'm just going to bs this))
Master Templar Kasumi made her way down the long palace corridor, wearing the ceremonial robes which were tailored quickly for the coronation. The gold and white robes, which she gripped in one hand so that she could actually walk, she could deal with on occasions such as this, but the headdress was a completely different matter. She mentally noted that a change in design was in order for these robes.
She had just finished speaking with the commander of her units guarding the palace, checking to be sure that everything on their end was as perfect and ordered as possible, and now made her way towards the ceremonial chamber where the coronation was soon to start. As she rounded the corner, however, she spotted Jason limping with his crutches and shook her head. He had too much pride for his own good. Walking up to him, she said, "I see you're trying to make your way around. Tell me, Grand Admiral, how is the leg doing?"

The Grand Admiral jumped slightly, almost dropping a crutch Sister. A long time with no contact. I see you heard about my leg. Ah well. it was worth it to regain the motherland.

Captain Mana Landguard's eyes shifted eagerly from left to right. The second the Emperor sat down, he would be a colonel. The battle losses... Finding the bodies still haunted his nightmares.

Emperor apparent Arkunish walked towards the audience room with his wife he was nervous about his new position, his wife was quick to console him. "I know you worry about your father and how you would measure up to his legacy. But do not worry too much about your predecessors Yevon willing you will be a fine Emperor and I will do my best to be a fine Empress or families have always supported each other since the beginning of the current dynasty and they shall remain allied so long as we do our best to be their pillar of strength." The Empress said as they made their way to the chamber. "I know. I should take it easy but it's hard. The Outer Rim is especially problematic, Second Gaia needs retaking, and the economy and military needs rebuilding." Arkunish replied as he waited for a Majordomo guard to open the door. Inside the audience chamber the dining tables and chairs had been cleared away so the Emperor and Empress could make their way to the thrones in the back of the room. They were not the same ones as in the throne room but were specially made for this one occasion. Majordomo agents formed two lines one on each side as the Imperial Royal couple as they walked up the diamond studded carpet. The Grand Vizier of the Empire stood behind the throne and waited for the Emperor and Empress to sit down.
