I know there is one thread about Buffy and Spike, but it's not really at the topic I was going after. Did anyone else not like Buffy and Spike together? I like Spike, but I never liked him and Buffy. I loved the Buffy and Angel couple. Anyone else dislike Buffy and Spike together?

I liked buffy and spike ... im sorry but the buffy and angel thing ... so over rated .... dont get me wrong i like angel and all ... its just ... i dont know .... just way over rated ..

Really? I never thought of it as over rated. I think it's more of a preference thing too, I liked Angel a whole lot more. I like Spike in Angel though, he sort of bugged me at times in Buffy. I wonder how many enemies I made with that statement... sweatdrop

i think spike was meant to be more of a loner type guy. you know the mysterious one that..... ooh ooh! like a cat! imagine spike as a cat. cats only ever take liking to certain ppl over time. he's main mission in life was to kill the slayer, until he went all soft in the head and fell for buffy *swoon* 3nodding I think it worked with buffy and angel because angel looked after buffy and buffy liked that in him. even though the 'town of kinky' couldn't happen between them.... blaugh

I prefer for Angel or Riley. Spike was just horrible towards the beggining of his 'mushy' feelings for Buffy. I loved the part when she wouldn't trade anything in the wolrd for the image of Spike getting thrown out of that window by April ( the robot).

I like Buffy and Spike together... they were my second favorite couple.(after Willow and Tara of course!) I thought it was really sweet in the end how much they were there for each other.

I heart heart Spike and Buffy, the whole deal with her and Angel was bad. He left her "for her own good" I think he's just running away, at least Spike *tried*.

Yeah- angel had that whole- broody, 'i'm hurt and need to be looked after' thng... Spike was, well.. first he hated her- then went all obsessive.... mmmm... bad spike bad...
(i like spike though- not trying to say anything bad about him- but he was best with drusilla!)

I'm quite torn on the Buffy/Spike pairing.
Buffy+Spike in Season 6= evil evil evil (yuck)
Buffy+Spike in Season 7= 3nodding 3nodding 3nodding (not so bad, but not great)
It was almost like Buffy had two completely different relationships because she was with two completely different Spikes. Spike was still technically evil in season 6. Their relationship was so dark. It wasn't about emotions, it was about feeling. Feeling something, anything. It most definitely wasn't healthy.
Their relationship, or pseudo-relationship of season 7 was healthier, but kind made me think of it as being a bad imitation of the Buffy/Angel years.
The moral of the story: Buffy+Angel= whee whee whee forever!
