(For the sake of the title, let the pounding commence.)
This arena ground is the regular type of bright red rock found in Sabigakure, with a few scattered rocks and trees. A wind fills the arena as feirce oppenents draw to do combat.

A crow cloaked figure, wearing a straw hat wandered into the arena, searching for his opponent. "Metaru Ryo, the devils are going to eat you alive."

The black clad form of Ryo entered the Colosseum, his hair bobbing with each step taken. Ryo was such a contrast compared to the bright rock under neath his feet, but it only stood to make him that much more unique. Approaching the center of the arena Ryo cracked his knuckles, checked his three scrolls and finally dipped his hand into the medium sized pouch that rested just above his buttocks. The pouch was full of sand sized pieces of iron in which Ryo used his bloodline to control. Along with his innate affinity for the fire element, Ryo was an opponent to fear.
"Kashi..." He spoke softly.

"Hmm." Kashi responded, reaching a moon toned hand to lightly tip up his hat, he was well aware of the Metaru's power, and it was a age old relationship of warring. His light hissing tone cut through his particularly shapped teeth, "Ready... old friend?"
A burst of a smoke grenade- and Kashi had disappeared.

A small chuckled exited the lips of Ryo as Kashi referred to him as his "old friend." And yet another laugh left his mouth as his opponent disappeared in a flash of smoke.
Gripping a small amount of iron pieces and throwing his hand out, releasing them into the air Ryo used his chakra to condense the metal into a ten inch dagger with an ergonomic grip where the handle should be. The pure metal dagger shined brightly in the sunlight, something Ryo would use to his advantage as his opponent would strike. Gripping it out of the air Ryo prepared himself.

"Poison clawsss- no jutsssu-" Kashi charged in a hand full of sharp glossy nails slashing towards the other black figure.

[[Since you didn't say where you are coming from I am assume you are coming from in front of me...cause thats how you charge.]]
Snickering under his breath Ryo simply turned his body so that his left side now faced Kashi and then took a step backwards to effectively dodge the oncoming attack.
But that was not all that he did. As Kashi would charge in front of Ryo, he would slash upwards with his dagger held in its underhand style into the flesh side of his opponent.

(Yup from straight on)
With a wide intentionally missed swipe, Kashi used his motion to miss the others dagger- one hand still holding his hat firmly in place as not to reveal his disturbing visage. Yet he allowed a callous laugh at the noticable move, and used his dexderity to crouch low and whirl his feet towards Ryo.

Watching every move Kashi made it wasn't hard for Ryo to dodge the move thrown at him and execute his own. Jumping into the air to not only dodge the attack Ryo cocked his dagger filled hand back and threw it out in front of him, releasing the dagger from his grasp to send it down towards Kashi.
While still in the air Ryo reached behind himself and into his back pouch. Grabbing yet another handful of Iron shaving he readied an attack.

A whirl of feathers was seen as the dagger sliced into seemingly Kashi's form, a burst of smoke as the shadow clone desintagrated into the canyons bright reflecting light. A shadow would have over fallen Ryo as another Kashi jumped down from a over lying rock shelf as so his powerful and destructive kick would connect straight into Ryo's back and break it.

Kashi would have had a good attack if it had not been for the sun and the shadows it cast. Spotting an extra shadow Ryo immediately knew where Kashi would come from, which made his own attack even easier.
Turning his body mid air Ryo initiated his attack. Throwing the iron shaving up towards the oncoming opponent Ryo used his chakra to not only condense the shavings into multiple razor sharp needles, but to send them up towards Kashi. The amount of needles mixed with being in the air would prove incredibly hard to dodge.

A deep breath of air expanded the snake masters lungs, and he released his elemental attribute, "Fuuton, Torrential Windsss." The following blast of air not only was enough to push the needles back but propel Kashi high up and back onto another rock shelf where he slid neatly into a crouch.
"What'sss the matter, Metaru? Russsting?"
