This thread was created for Guild members to post their art, discuss styles and techniques and recieve feedback! Perfect for when the Art Arena gets you down!
When posting artwork, be sure to keep all posts PG-13. Use your best judgement. Any violation of this rule will result in a warning, and any repetition after that will result in your being banned from the guild. If it wouldn't be accepted in the Art Arena, it wont be accepted here.

"If it wouldn't be accepted in the Art Arena, it wont be accepted here."
I take it you mean only art that is appropriate, and not that this thread has the same criteria for the subject of the art?
I just had to check.

I just had to check. Oh, yes. I apologize for the confusion. sweatdrop You don't need to post anime specifically, I was just emphasizing the appropriateness of the artwork posted.

And another question: Some people, such as myself, consider poetry artwork. Is it okay to post poems in this thread, or should we make another thread for it?

JTN I'm a bit out of practice, but my friends seemed to enjoy this one of myself. (Please be kind. redface ) I love it! I'm suprised, I wasn't aware you had such skill! The shading looks great, I love that angry spork pose. 3nodding Did you use a pencil or an ink pen?

Reesu La I love it! I'm suprised, I wasn't aware you had such skill! The shading looks great, I love that angry spork pose. 3nodding Did you use a pencil or an ink pen? Thank you both, Reesu & Trissana. 3nodding To answer your question as to my choice of instruments, Reesu: I used plain bond copy paper on which I hastily scratched out a "cheap" crosshatch background with a broken No.2 pencil. The main drawing itself was done with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil with HB leads. A wadded up lunch napkin served as my smudge/blending/shading tool. Hey, it was study hall and I had no homework left. wink

Alex The Kender Hmm.. What's a good site (free?) for uploading art and things? One would be GreatestJournal. Yeah, yeah, blog, how boring. But, it has free image hosting, and you can always use the journal part for hosting poetry and writing projects.
