This thread is for posting memorable and/or interesting chat logs. In the future I'll be posting the logs of special events, moments that are particularly character defining, examples of the best roleplaying I see, and occasionally a snapshot of something funny.

You may also post logs that you think are particularly interesting, or funny, or whatever, really.



But this thread is reserved for three things only: 1) chat logs 2) commentary about the logs you post, if you want 3) reactions to logs posted by others

* Please do not post fraudulent or made-up logs unless you clearly state that it's a joke.

* This is an OUT OF CHARACTER thread. That means, anything posted here that you did not see or here, unless it is labeled "Public Record," is not something your character would necessarily know.

Post Types

Making logs is my (Blood on Roses) job. I will label them thusly:

PUBLIC RECORD
This is a log of a formal situation that took place. Things like trials, special speeches, council meetings (when we have a council), etc. These logs can be accessed by anyone IN CHARACTER.

ANECDOTE
This is something funny or informal, something I catch off-the-cuff.

WOW
This is a moment in RP that, for whatever reason, took me unexpected or otherwise floored me.

CHARACTER
This label goes on moments of interesting character interaction or development.

CLASSIFIED
Things that probably shouldn't have been logged or were logged covertly. (Bad girl, Rose!)




(You don't have to label your logs, but you may wish to.)

To Post a Log:

You can view your chat history (which lists the things your character and the characters around you say and describe)

Select the text, then hit copy and paste into a posting form. (You can also paste it to notepad and save it for yourself)
