Haven't updated in forever it seems. But I guess updatinng is the only reason I do sweatdrop The site's really come along since I last been here. Anyhow here's one of my recent new pieces. Enjoy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stars shining on forever
Off the water, happ'ly
On a glorius deep-blue night
At the city by the sea

The music plays on in your heads
The notes played perfectly
Children dance as they hum along
At the city by the sea

People gathered in the square
Walkin' about with glee
Living life without a care
At the city by the sea

Dove's float above on air
Boats glide and roam about free
Couple's gaze into the night sky
At the city by the sea

The happiness of lovers
Goes on endlessly
To endure for all time
At the city by the sea

The fire of their love
Is a light that burns brightly
Not to ever be put out
At the city by the sea

In a place of true joy
For both you and me
To spend a happy life together
At the city by the sea

This is a good poem, so what was your inspiration for it anyway? Behind every poem there is a story...I believe that.

At the city by the sea

I really liked the word choice in this poem. Specialy the word: happ'ly and how it's written.

I thought it was really good, but would have been better with more punctuation. I liked how you wrote happily happ'ly and things like that, and thought that made the poem flow very well. Very good job with this one!

I'm not much into poetry, but I like this one. It was cheerful.
