PostPosted: Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:17 pm

Opening Credits: Breakdown - Jack Johnson
You don't know nothing but you don't need to know
The wisdom's in the trees not the glass windows

and we'll die all to no avail
(this does not bode well for my movie...)

best,
you've got to be the best
you've got to change the world
and you use this chance to be heard
your time is now
(kind of apt for this one, hmm)

Fight Song: The Underdog - Spoon
You got no fear of the underdog
That's why you will not survive
(YEAH!)
Breaking Up: Straggler's Moon - The Fratellis
and then you're out there on your own again
no one believes you when you lie

Prom: Tear You Apart - She Wants Revenge
Either way he wanted her and this was bad
Wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy
Now a little crush turned into a like
And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her...I wanna f'king tear you apart
(I think this means the guy I broke up with earlier is all obsessively stalking me now. Creepy.)
Life is Good: Short Skirt/Long Jacket - Cake
I want a girl with a short skirt and a loooooong jacket
(This makes no sense at all. xD Unless maybe our heroine is Bi)
PostPosted: Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:39 pm

Mental Breakdown: The Great Below - NIN
staring at the sea - will she come?
is there hope for me after all is said and done
anything at any price, all of this for you
all the spoils of a wasted life, all of this for you
(If I have to have a mental breakdown, I'm glad it's to an awesome NIN song...)
Driving: Starlight - Muse
The starlight I will be chasing your starlight
Until the end of my life
I don't know if it's worth it anymore

Flashback: Hey Pretty (Drive-By remix) - Poe
Hey pretty, don't you wanna take a ride with me
through my world
(maybe he was a hitch-hiker)

who's got their claws in you my friend
Into your heart I'll beat again

Wedding: Crystal Ball - Keane
Oh, crystal ball, crystal ball
Save us all, tell me life is beautiful
Mirror, mirror on the wall

Paying the Dues: Beautiful Girl - Poe
Tell me everything
someone's gotta hear this
beautiful thing
(I'm not entirely sure what Paying The Dues even means, but I'm sure this doesn't fit at all xP )
The Night Before The War: An End Has A Start - Editors
I won't disappoint you
As you fall apart
Some things should be simple
Even an end has a start

Final Battle: No, You Don't - NIN
and just for the record, just so you know,
I did not believe that you could sink so low
you think that you can beat them
I know that you won't
you think you have everything,
but no, you don't
(Hellz yeah! What's with the NIN songs being perfectly apt for like, everything?)

Moment of Triumph: Istanbul (Not Constantinople) - They Might Be Giants (WHAT THE HELL D: I guess my movie is suddenly a comedy )
Death Scene: I Saw A Light - Bat For Lashes
I saw a light
Getting smaller in the distance
And I said goodbye
(this one is SCARILY apt o_O)
Funeral Song: The Woodlands National Anthem - The Arcade Fire (I would actually like a song like this played at my funeral xD it's hard to hear the lyrics though so I won't post them)
End Credits: Invincible - Muse
And tonight we can truly say
together we're invincible

So I think my movie is one of those weird little indy-arthouse-low-budget things you'd have to be high on LSD or something to really understand. >.>
