Hello, I am on the hunt for a recipe for Phoenix chicken.I am told that it's similar to sweet and sour or orange chicken. But it has a slighty different taste. If you know where I can find it please let me know. Thank you.

the pheonix chicken at my local chinese resturaunt has chicken wrapped around pork then battered and fried, with some sort of sauce

i have no idea of the actual recipe, i just ate it once xp

A phoenix chicken recipe is incredibly difficult to find, especially considering that the phoenix is either extinct, very limited in population, or a myth.

I've known Phoenix Chicken as a pan-fried marinated chicken glazed in a sauce. It look similarly to Orange chicken but the flavor has a blend of ginger and garlic. It's really delicious, though! You can check a recipe here:
